March has now come and gone! We were going to post this on April first, and make some joke about record labels shutting down to become hippies that only eat curds and whey, but we decided against that. Part of that was because April Fools Day just isn't really that much fun, but the other part of that was time just got away from us. Its honestly probably for the better, better to not start the month off with a lame joke, right?
Over all, we do not feel like March was overly eventful. Let's see...at the end of February, we announced a 'schedule', and then just over one week later decided that with every other life event was just too much to ask of myself and repealed it. That announcement was quickly followed by a blog that I'm pretty sure I wrote after watching one of many YouTubers I enjoy. They must have said something profound and got me thinking about how nobody is fully complete and we have to keep writing out own stories. Its true, but for the life of me, I cannot remember why I wrote it or who's video inspired it. We decided that we needed to just start writing for fun again, for an outlet, so a lot of blogs were posted this month. We like writing everything for the website, but the blogs seem to be the most freeing form of writing we currently do, so they often get used as an 'escape.' Below is everything we wrote about this month listed in their own sections. Want to just see who we interviewed this month? You can do that! Want to see what all we wrote as an escape? Its there too! We decided just to cut ourselves off here and let you look in each category for what we did. No sense in us rambling on about things that were already written about. Some things will be talked about further, but we'll get into those shortly. Blogs: 10 Best Songs mini series' -Papa Roach / All Time Low/ A Day To Remember / Pierce The Veil / Shinedown / New series suggestion / Lesser Known Bands / New identifying word / Clothing does not define you / Favorite songs / Favorite Lyrics /Band Merch Loophole / Song reviews for the band Thirteen Reviews: World Painted Blood -Slayer /Jack And The Giant EP -A Love Lie Pi / We Are Harlot -We Are Harlot / Future Hearts -All Time Low (That one was actually done April 1, but we wanted to include it anyways.) News: Kurt Cobain 'lives' / Rise Up -Art Of Dying / Apocalytpica & Art Of Dying tour /Rock Resurgence as predicted by Jacoby Shaddix) /Kids in The Dark song and video release /Runaway -All Time Low / (And Future Hearts being streamed, but we only talked about that in the review) / Human Race -Three Days Grace Interviews: To Write Love On Her Arms / Deaf Rhino / Highly Suspect / A Love Like Pi We also wanted to make a mention that we have started making videos again! We uploaded our first video in a very long time on our YouTube channel on April 1, but it was actually filmed on March 31, so it still sort of counts for the March recap blog. We are going to try to get back into making videos, but no promises are being made there. That about covers it, really. This month we still have greatly been enjoying F.E.A.R by Papa Roach, All Time Low (Especially Kids In The Dark!), and Falling In Reverse's Just Like You album. From March 3 to the morning of April 2, the website has gotten 7,837 views, and we will recount again in a few days. What were you up to in March? Let us know! Coming this month will more than likely be some more videos, a concert story near the end of the month, and definitely a bunch of content here, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. February's recap blog.
