Over all, I’m not actually a big fan of Framing Hanley. There’s not a reason for it, I’m just not. However, I think they did quite a good job on this album. I thought that from the first track, “The Promise.”
I do like every track on the album, but the ones that get stuck in my head are “Weight of the World” and “Wake Up.” They’re a bit more upbeat, which I enjoy.
Except for those two, even though they’re good, I feel they’re a bit generic. It all sounds -musically- like they just heard other beats and altered them ever so slightly.
Because this album isn’t bad, but isn’t all that great, I give this album three stars. Its not quite passing, but not quite failing either.
All reviews have the date they were written, the album title, and the band's name, with the exception of Life Starts Now by Three Days Grace and Dear Agony by Breaking Benjamin. Those dates were guessed at, as they were written well before the website began.
