I love this album! All of Hinder's music is great, but this one is their best.
They seem to be impersionating classic rock with All American Nightmare, but they did so well with it I can't help but love it. Sexual lyrics, and all too true lyrics are what make up this album. From the first track, "2 Sides of Me", you're left enjoying each track. I've been listening to this album since its release in 2010 and I still have trouble picking a favorite. My first impression is to say y favorite is the lead single, "All American Nightmare", but as I pay attention to the lyrics and really think about it he sounds very cocky. "I make the good girls bad, and the bad girls worse. Nice guys are last,'cause I'm always first." There's nothing I dislike about this album, its amazing. With a lot of thought, I guess my favorite would be a three way tie between "Hey Ho", "Striptease", and "Put That Record On". "Hey Ho" is a song about your love for rock and roll, and it talks about being against rap like Kayne West. That's what I like about it. "Striptease" is obvious. Its a fun song which appears to be saying someone has no talent, but is attractive so they could get more attention by stripping. "Put That Record On" is one I feel any music lover can relate to. Its saying no matter what, music will always be there for ytou, and it'll always relate to you. That one may possibly be the best song on the albun. It has the most meaning, if you ask me. Defenitly check out this album! Hinder is amazing, and I give this album five stars.
