Bad Luck Glory is a 2012 release from Leaving Haven, a rock band from Orlando, FL. This is a band for fans of Framing Hanley, Chevelle, Papa Roach, Red, and more.
This is one of those albums that is just great and you don't really have an explanation as to why. Usually, its the lyrics that draw me in, but with this one its more so the music and the vocal style. The entire album is great, but hands down the best track on the album is "Never Miss Me." Its incredibly sweet, but also slightly sad. "My biggest fear is they will never miss me." Many people have been concerned that they will be forgotten, and its a terrible thing to feel. That being said, rough feelings tend to be put into some of the best songs, and they did a great job of portraying that feeling in a beautiful way. Just behind it though is, "Can't Commit." It appears to be about a girl who wouldn't give him the time of day he wanted to for a while. It eventually comes out that he did finally get what he wanted, but she couldn't commit to more than just something fun. . "I can't commit, not right now. Its too much for me. I'm some kind of lazy, and I just might forget. But last night...yeah, that works for me." That quote may be slightly paraphrased by mistake. Its a great album, and you can check it out on the band's official website.
