Murderdolls is a unique band, but they do have serious talent. Their songs are a bit morbid, you can tell that just by their titles. With songs like, "SLit My Wrist", "She Was a Teenage Zombie", "Dressed To Depress", "Die My Bride" and others on this album alone, the content is pretty obvious.
Murderdolls are most defentily not meant for the faint at heart, but I greatly enjoy them. I am not sure what my favorite track is, but I go back and forth between, "People Hate Me", "Mother Fucker, I Don't Care", and "Die My Bride." The music on every track is very strong, powerful, and heavy, but some songs actually have catchy qualities to them. Like in "People Hate Me", which says, "People hate me, 'cause I'm better than you. People hate me, and that's the mother fucking truth. People hate me, and you can all fuck off. I'm perfect, pissed off, beautifulo. I'm God." Its brutal as hell, but that's just about what you'd say if you were just that fed up with people. Minus the whole being perfect and God, thing. You probably would never need to say such a thing in your entire life. I througholy enjoyed this album, and if you enjoy true "horror metal" or whatever you want to cll it, listen to this album. This album has earned five stars.
