Their lyrics are good, very well written and the instrumentals sounded great. My only problem is his voice! He sounds like an auto tuned child. Its uncomfortably high pitched, in my opinion. First time I heard it, I’m pretty sure I cringed.
I did like how they combined five short songs into a ten minute song as the first track. They flowed together well, despite the fact that its five different songs entirely. What I especially liked was a line in, “Let It All Go”. “You know that I love you, and I can’t stand living without you, but I don’t know what now I can do. (Oh no no), You gotta do something, ‘cause you can’t just keep it inside you. Its killing me, and killing you.” It speaks of a real relationship, where there’s a connection between the two people, but also pain. If you can get past his voice, you can enjoy some beautiful and deep lyrics. I liked every track, I just hated his voice. Because everything other than his voice is good, I give Daybreak four stars. One is missing because, frankly, his voice sucks!
