High & Mighty is an incredibly talented post hardcore band from Allentown, PA. You may not have a clue who they are now, but this is only the beginning for them. Their entire discography offers sounds reminiscent of Memphis May Fire, Of Mice and Men and Secrets.
Between their brand new EP, covers and singles, they express a lot of talent, and push their limits quite a bit. Not to mention, they also say a lof of the things people need to hear.
Personal favorites include, "Daydreamer", "Inhibitor", and their cover of Nick Jonas' "Jealous." That cover needs to be heard by Nick, because frankly, he could learn something from them. Between slight lyrical changes and the screaming added into the song, they blew us away. They did that one such justice, and coming from a die hard Jonas fan, that is quite the compliment.
"Daydreamer" is arguably one of the most inspirational songs out there right now. Its not only beautiful but extremely powerful as well. "Every dream inside the mind of a dreamer. Where is your sad song adventure? Don't you have what it takes to make you smile?" This one is right up there with "Legacy" by Memphis May Fire on the inspirational level.
Some of these songs are not out yet, but their debut, five song EP is out now! For more information, please be sure to check out High & Mighty on their official website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Google Plus.
These guys are highly worth your time. They might be brand new now, but they have the potential to go far.
All reviews have the date they were written, the album title, and the band's name, with the exception of Life Starts Now by Three Days Grace and Dear Agony by Breaking Benjamin. Those dates were guessed at, as they were written well before the website began.
