The Jonas Brothers fourth studio album is more mature than the other three, and it has a different sound to it than the others. This one doesn’t actually have a set sound, it jumps form pop rock, to acoustic, to country and rap.
Now people have to keep in mind that I am a die hard Jonas Brothers fan, so I am a bit biased. That being said, I love this album! My favorite track is either “World War III” or “Poison Ivy”. “World War III” is actually about Nick’s ex, Miley Cyrus, and how she was always picking fights with him. It just is put together well and its catchy. Then there’s “Poison Ivy”, I’m not sure who it’s about, but its lyrically very different for them. Everyone’s allergic to poison ivy, everybody gets the itch, everybody hates that-” I was shocked the first time I heard it, because they clearly intended to say “Everybody hates that bitch.” I sincerely do love the whole album, the only songs I’m iffy about are “Turn Right”, and “Don’t Speak.” They aren’t the normal lyric genius that JB ha. They both have barely any words! I definitely recommend this album, its simply amazing in my eyes. Its got great lyrics and instrumentals. Its incredible, I can give this album no score other than five stars.
