American punk rock band, Pennywise released their tenth album in 2012. The album is called All Or Nothing and was released on May 1, 2012, and it is far from their most recent release. They released another album in 2014, and a review of that is coming very soon, but for now we're going to talk about this one. Something interesting about this album is it is the only one to not feature the original singer of the band, Jim Lindberg. Jim departed from the band in 2009 to work on other projects, they brought in Zoli Téglás. The album did fairly well, as it debuted at number 55 on Canadian album charts, though we cannot seem to find how it did anywhere else. The title track, and lead single, "All Or Nothing" came out on March 7, 2012, and opens the album very well. It has a vibe similar to The Offspring to it, and is extremely punk rock in not only tone but the lyrics. It seems to be about questioning the world, while conquering your goals and constantly growing. The entire album seems to be about life. Its about pushing through and living the best life you can live. This is what punk rock truly is! Its not the stereotypical, 'fuck the government' bullshit, its about being a hundred percent yourself and doing what makes you happy. This album is awesome, and we think we're going to have to look into Pennywise a bit more. Be sure to check Pennywise out, and if you like what you hear, you can catch them live beginning on April 29. They will be doing a short tour through May 7, and will be playing Fort Rock and Welcome To Rockville near the beginning of said tour. After that, they will also be playing Rock On The Range. For further information, please check out Pennywise's official website, and be on the look out for a review of their latest album, Yesterdays, here on Immortal Music.
