The Used have been making incredible music since 2001, and while this album is much anticipated, I feel as if its all been done before. By them.
Before I even heard the songs, I felt that way. Some of the titles are highly similar even. "Kiss It Goodbye" reminded me of "Kissing You Goodbye", and many of the songs sounded overly familar. I feel like the lyrics were the only thing that changed. You can tell they worked hard on this album,a nd I have a feeling Bert had gone through hell with someone close to him. Its obvious with songsl ike, "Moving On", "Getting Over You', and "Hurt No More." I ddin't actually have a favorite, as no track really stood out to me. You can tell they had a lot of inspirtation, but I just didn't care for their final outcome. I give this album, three stars. For effort, mostly.
