Facebook is buzzing with talk about the interview Bryan Stars uploaded yesterday with Falling In Reverse's singer, Ronnie Radke. The link got shared several times, and several fan pages were chatting about it. I watched the interview, and was impressed by Ronnie.
Everyone knows that he was in prison until last December, and was previously addicted to drugs. He's clean now, 100%, and is a changed man. I found myself wanting to watch this interview for several reasons. Not only did I know just how badly Bryan Stars wanted to do the interview, but I wanted to see how Ronnie would act. Bryan isn't like most interviewers, he let's the stars feel comfortable and be totally themselves. I felt that'd be a good thing for Ronnie. As far as I'm aware, he hasn't done very many interviews this year, just a small handful. As I watched the interview, I felt as though I was making up my mind about Ronnie Radke. I've known for quite some time that he is a changed man, and the interview just reiterated that for me. He's not a bad guy, for that matter he's not even mean, like so many thought he was. Even Bryan admitted that he was worried about how Ronnie would be in an interview. He's just been hurt, and resentful. For very good reason, if you ask me. Nobody would take getting more or less framed, and ditched by your so called "best friend" lightly. Let alone going to jail for something you sincerely did not do. His emotions show very deeply in the album, and he's shown it some at live shows. Fans will talk against Craig Mabbitt and all the others in Escape The Fate, and while it appears on occasion that Ronnie encourages that, he really doesn't. Yes, he's said some shit too, but in all fairness, he deserved to! I wouldn't nessicarly say I'm a fan of Ronnie Radke, but I do like Falling In Reverse's music a lot, but I do have a certain respect for him. I like how he's handling himself, and how he's taken a terrible situation and made the best out of it. He appericates the life he's got now, and I think he appericates his fans and his fame even more now. He would out of the picture for two years, and had only been doing stuff with Escape The Fate a year or so before that. Time like that away can sometimes make or break a star. There is more I have to say on the subject of Ronnie Radke, but I feel I should keep some things to myself. I don't want to talk shit, or start any rumors, so I will just keep my unfair assumptions to myself. While I do have my own assumptions, I do wish people would quit hating on him so much. He doesn't deserve it. He messed up, but so what? He's human, and honestly Max messed up more than Ronnie did. Max is still messing up, but I won't get into that. I'm sick of the whole "Ronnie vs Max" debate, and I''m sure a lot of other people are too. Falling In Reverse is currently on tour with.....Eyes Set To Kill, I believe. I'm not sure exactly. They have had so many line up changes on this tour, and they're going to have another one. For a couple of weeks next month, they'll be joined by Black Veil Brides.
