You're always hearing of fans going on these epic journeys for concerts, so maybe my story is no different. That being said, I feel like its impressive, regardless of how many people have done the exact same thing.
I have been working my ass off making my plans for Warped tour, and tomorrow I will be making the journey with a couple people. All day today, I am making final preparations, such as thinking up questions for eight bands, and making sure my "survival pack" is fully put together. I am bringing a full survival pack complete with water bottles, granola bars, gatorade, a mini fan, notebook with questions, spare batteries for the camera, and a few extra things just in case. My questions are mostly thought up, and as soon as I finish them, I have to design a couple graphics to bring with me so I can get autographs from bands. I may be a "professional" but I still want autographs and photographs for my own enjoyment. I was a fan first, and a professional second. Everything is planned, my friends that are coming with me are coming to my house tonight so we can all just get up and go early tomorrow morning. When I say early -I mean early! We are getting up, and leaving at three o'clock in the morning, driving three hours across the state, just to make sure we're there early. I'm hoping to be at the venue at least two hours early, as I do have to find a place to check in. The full report about my Warped experience will be posted sometime next week, after I recover from Warped. This is going to rock!
