In preparation for Warped tour 2015, I decided to look into the sponsors this year. I'm not sure why, but we felt like it.
Perhaps it was out of boredom, but either way, we found some interesting ones. There's the expected ones like, Vans, Keep A Breast Foundation, To Write Love On Her Arms, Support Tattoos And Piercings At Work, multiple record labels like Hopeless Records, Epitaph, and so many more. There's a ton of fantastic ones but these are just some that stuck out to me the most to me, for various reasons. Hourslost -This is a company appears to be all about seizing the day and taking the opportunities for yourself, not waiting around, even if you mess up. That's something I support greatly, and plan on trying to find them at Warped tour. Their website had a tank top that said "Make your own mark on the world" and frankly, I want it. Blackcraft- This company may not be for everyone, but I personally like what they seem to stand for. It appears as though they're anti-religion, and are all about being yourself. That's something that bodes very well with Immortal Music, right down to our tagline. Music is our religion, and everyone is entitled to be themselves, no matter what anyone says. Also, all their designs are more on the gothic side, which is pretty cool as well. The Canvas Foundation supports creativity and tries to raise funds for art programs that are slowly getting shut down because people deem them unimportant. Art in all forms is highly important as life would be extremely dull, therefor depressing, without it. The fact that they support it makes me very happy, and it was worth mentioning. Hope For The Day- This is a company that gives people hope and gives them healthy outlets for their struggles. All the outlets they encourage are creative ones, and this does include music. This is something I am behind 100% and am always trying to encourage people to find outlets and healthier stress relievers. Music & Memory- Now this company, is the one I was most thrilled to discover. I had never heard of this company, but I had greatly hoped that something like this would exist. This company helps Alzheimer paitents through music. Music can help restore memories and this is something I think needs to be funded so much more. I've seen this to be proven very true, as my great grandmother had Alzheimer's disease and she forgot everything except for one song. Even on the day she passed away, it was obvious she remembered this one song and that will forever mean the world to me. There's plenty of companies that do help with Alzheimer's paitents, but this one is special to me and I am so glad it exists. I do plan on one day doing a fund raiser for Alzhiemer's research, because its a terrible illness that actually steals your memories from you. That bothers me a lot, and I know there has to be a cure out there somewhere. Some are still working on it, and I just want to help. I know there's a million other illnesses that need cures, but I definitely feel strongly about this one. Well, that was an accidental ramble, now wasn't it? Anyways.... I am plan on making it a point to stop by many of those tents, and several bands, including As It Is, Black Veil Brides, Asking Alexandria, Pierce The Veil, Memphis May Fire, and probably more. An Instagram account posted a bunch of pictures of the merch tents this year, which honestly just made us more excited to look around. Far too much money is going to be spent on stuff at Warped tour, but its going to be so worth it. Keep in mind that Immortal Music WILL BE THERE. We will be there with Remedy X, and both of us will have merch! There's bracelets and t-shirts for Immortal Music, and Remedy will have t-shirts, bracelets, stickers, CDs and can koozies. Prices have yet to be determined, and we all are still trying to figure out the online selling but stay tuned. We're working on it. Pictures of the merch tent will be posted on Immortal Music Facebook page, Instagram, possibly Twitter and Remedy X's Facebook and Twitter as well, the day of. I will also be posting pictures of the Immortal Music bracelets and shirts soon everywhere. I don't have any of it yet, but all of it has been ordered so its only a matter of time. I hope you guys are as excited as I am, because I am both thrilled and scared about the merch coming out.
