On February 4, Breaking Benjamin performed in NYC and were joined by a surprise guest to perform a very special song. They decided to do their own version of "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie, and brought out David Draiman of Disturbed for this song. Benjamin Burnley sang all of Freddy Mercury's parts, while David Draiman sang all of David Bowie's parts. As you can see in the video below, fans instantly lost their minds over David Draiman walking out on stage, and everyone loved their performance. Check it out below! Breaking Benjamin is currently on tour, and are doing acoustic shows until February 18, when they go back to performing their usual, awesome way. For more information, head over to BB's official website. They are not on tour with Disturbed, which makes this event extra special. Disturbed will be setting out on tour February 10 with Saint Asonia, and then will be performing at many festivals such as the 98Rockfest, Fort Rock, Welcome To Rockville, Rock On The Range and Rocklahoma. A little over two weeks ago, Megadeth released their fourteenth studio album, Dystopia and proved that they are still awesome. The album peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200! This is their first album to reach that high on American charts since their Count To Extinction album that came out in 1992. In fact, this album has appeared to be the most successful album clear across the board. This one actually reached number 3 in three different countries. There's the US, Canada and Finland. Compared to other albums, this one has definitely been more successful, chart wise. It appears as though they've just gotten more successful with each album. We are hoping to do a review of this album very soon, but first we have to get a copy of the album. Be on the look out for that, its coming soon! Five Finger Death Punch / Shinedown / P.O.D Asking Alexandria will be releasing their brand new album, The Black on March 25. You can read all about that right here, but the details for the album are not the only thing that are being talked about right now. The title track, "The Black" has its own music video and can be seen below. Warning: Watch the video below before reading on. There will be spoilers! The video is done entirely in black and white, and appears to depict someone going a bit insane. The song leads you to believe that one person who once meant a lot to you is now the reason you're not alright. You see someone spreading what appears to be blood all over their body, along with flashes of flames and smoke, a cross, and a wide open field. It all seems to symbolize insanity, when pulled together with the band performing. The song is a bit heavier than some of Asking Alexandria's more recent releases, and hopefully fans are going to love it. Something we in particular love is when guitarist, Benjamin Bruce steps in to sing a verse. His voice has always been a very beautiful touch to Asking Alexandria's music and it seems to piece together the song very nicely. "You make me feel like a fucking joke. I need to cut you out." We may never know exactly who this song is about, but we quite like the sound of the song. Its quite the hard hitting song, and you can tell it came straight from the heart. It makes us very excited to hear the album, which comes out on March 25, 2016. Before and after the album's release, fans all over the world can catch Asking Alexandria live. They are on tour now through March 11 all around the US with Bullet For My Valentine and While She Sleeps. They then head on over to Australia to perform with Blessthefall and Buried in Venom until they come back to the US in late April / early May to play many of the massive festivals. Those festivals include Welcome To Rockville, Fort Rock, Carolina Rebellion, Northern Invasion, and Rock On The Range.
