The sixth annual Carnival Of Madness festival will be going on later this summer and it will be here in the US, unlike last year!
Last year it went over to the UK, and featured Shinedown and Halestorm. This year, that lineup is coming to the US! Carnival Of Madness this year will be headlined by Shinedown, and supported by Halestorm, Black Stone Cherry and Whiskey Myers. Pre-order tickets are on sale NOW, and the tour begins on July 20! It goes through August 18. Fun fact, Immortal Music attended the very first Carnival Of Madness! It was ironically July 20, 2010, and it was one of the first dates of the tour as well. So clearly, they're sticking to tradition a bit. Something else that's very cool about the ticket options for this tour is that you can get a 3D Commemorative ticket, if you so choose to do so! Where has this idea always been??? Most of us keep our concert tickets anyways, so doing a special commemorative ticket is absolutely brilliant. Anyways, all the tour dates are below and you can find all the needed information through Shinedown and the Carnival Of Madness official website. 7/20 — Southhaven, Miss. — Landers Center 7/22 — Kansas City, Mo. — Starlight Theater 7/23 — St. Louis, Mo. — Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre 7/24 — Fort Wayne, Ind. — Park View Stadium 7/26 — Rogers, Ark. — WalMart Amphitheatre 7/27 — Tulsa, Okla. — BOK Center 7/29 — New Orleans, La. — UNO Lakefront Arena 7/31 — Austin, Texas — Cedar Park Center 8/2 — Bossier City, La. — CenturyLink Center 8/4 — Nashville, Tenn. — Ascend Amphitheatre 8/7 — Brooklyn, N.Y. — Coney Island Amphitheatre 8/10 — Columbia, Md. — Merriweather Post Pavilion 8/12 — Gilford, N.H. — Bank of NG Pavilion 8/13 — Uncasville, Ct. — Mohegan Sun Arena 8/14 — Erie, Pa. — Erie Insurance Arena 8/16 — Chicago, Ill. — First Merit Bank Pavilion 8/18 — Detroit, Mich. — DTE Music Amphitheatre With luck, more tour dates will be coming soon, but at this time, we are not positive if that will happen. If they're not coming to you on the Carnival of Madness tour, don't fret! They still may be coming near you. Shinedown will be going out on tour next month, and in that tour will be many festivals such as the 98 Rockfest, Fort Rock, Welcome To Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, Northern Invasion, Rock On The Range, and Rock N Derby. Some of their tour dates are also with Five Finger Death Punch and POD. For further information, and even more tour dates, head on over to Shinedown's website, as we said before. For further festival information, please check out the respective festival website.

Apparently music runs in the Fuentes genes! Immortal Music received an email today regarding a new band called Keyes. This band features the nephew of the Fuentes brothers, Kyle Allen as the vocalist. They remind us a lot of Alesana, Of Mice And Men, ect. Obviously those are two very different bands, but there's many different vibes we're picking up in their single, "Sewing Circle." Sewing Circles will actually be featured on a split 7" album that will come out on April 15. They will be sharing the EP with Wearing Thin, who are on the same record label, Tragic Heroes Records.
Tylor Blackburn, the vocalist for Wearing Thin spoke up about this shared release. "We've been friends with Keyes since Wearing Thin's conception. This split has felt long overdue, and we're excited both our bands get to grow together. Our side of songs carries off of our EP dealing with the feelings of letting go of toxic relationships." Pre-orders are available now through Merch Bucket. Click here to see not only the pre-order bundles but various other merchandise that's on pre-order right now. 3 Doors Down has released their sixth studio album today! "Us And The Night" is out now and can be purchased from many different musical outlets! If you get it from Target, you will get two exclusive songs, Best Buy gives you a $2 off coupon, iTunes is just instant fun, ect. The album so far seems to receiving some mixed reviews. Some love it, while some seem disappointed in it! We hope to make our own decision about the album very soon, so stay tuned for that review! Hopefully it will be up very soon. Check out the single, "In The Dark" below, and then head over to 3 Doors Down's official website to see everything they have going on! In a matter of days, they will be doing a free show at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL! Then just a few weeks later they will be going on tour. The tour goes from April 8 through May 13, and in the mist of that tour will be several festival performances. They will be playing at Welcome To Rockville, Fort Rock,Carolina Rebellion, Rocklahoma and Bands In The Backyard. Further information can be found on 3 Doors Down's website or the respective festival websites.
Right at midnight on this day, A Day To Remember released the full song for "Paranoia." They released a teaser trailer the other day, but now the wait is over! Check out the video and the full song below and let us know what you think! After you're done with that, be sure to head on over to the Creator's Blog to see what we thought of the video and song as well. Also, if you liked what you heard, know you can buy it now on iTunes! You also are highly encouraged to go over to A Day To Remember's website to see all of their tour dates coming up! Very soon they will be going out with State Champs and performing at many festivals that include Fort Rock, Welcome To Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, and many more. Full dates and festivals can be found over there, so go see if you're curious! At this point, its fairly safe to say that almost everyone in the US at least has heard Disturbed's cover of "Sound Of Silence."
The song was originally done by Simon & Garfunkel and was released in September 1965. It was a success even back then, as it did hit number one in January of 1966. It actually managed to beat out The Beatles, and stayed up in the Billboard charts for 14 weeks straight, hitting different levels through out its time. Disturbed has done a very similar thing with their almost haunting and incredible cover. Its featured on their latest album, Immortalized, which came out in August of 2015. The cover of "Sound Of Silence" actually hit the Top 10 of the Mainstream Rock Songs in February and what Billboard is saying is its vastly different from most of the songs on the chart. Its piano/ keyboard and classical string designed and apparently that hasn't happened since 2002 when Ozzy Osbourne's "Dreamer" reached Number 10. Now its no surprise really, the cover really brings out the meaning of the song because it is rather dark and the original expressed it in a peppy way. Plus, Disturbed is known for being a hit. This is their sixth number one hit song, and every album but the very first one has hit number one as well. None the less, its very impressive. Go, Disturbed for all of your success! We hope to congratulate you in person at Fort Rock this year. Even if we don't get to, we do look forward to seeing your performance. You can too! Disturbed is on tour with Saint Asonia until the end of March, and then will be going out with Nonpoint and Mindset Evolution before performing at many festivals all around. They will be performing at Ufest 2016, 98Rockfest, Welcome To Rockville, Fort Rock (as previously mentioned), Carolina Rebellion, Northern Invasion, Rock On The Range, and Rocklahoma. If you would like any further information, please check out Disturbed's official website.
Well, we knew they were up to something! That something was indeed a new song!
The song is called "Paranoia" and will be out this Friday, but they have released a teaser clip of it! Check it out below.
Its actually a bit heavier for them, a bit like how their very early work sounded. Very exciting!
What do you think of the clip? Are you excited to hear the full song? We are! Also, does anyone else think that picture avoid is reminiscent of Disturbed?? We definitely see some Disturbed in that image. Yesterday A Day To Remember tweeted telling fans to listen to Beats 1 Radio at 12:30pm EST time. My guess is they're going to surprise the world with a new song or possibly announce a new album. They have been working on new music, but when they last spoke of it said they were taking their time and had no idea when it was going to be out. Either way, that's rather exciting! In a little over three hours from the time this was posted, the world will know what ADTR is up to. What we do know though is the tour dates ADTR has coming up very soon! They will be headlining the Self Help festival on March 19, and then get a little down time before beginning their tour with Parkway Drive and State Champs. The tour begins properly on May 4 and ends on May 18. Just before that though is Fort Rock and Welcome To Rockville, and just after is Rock On The Range, and Rock N' Derby. During the tour, they will also be appearing at Carolina Rebellion and Northern Invasion. For a full list of tour dates, please go check out A Day To Remember's official website and keep an eye on them to see what they're doing today! Anthrax released their eleventh studio album, For All Kings on February 26 of this year.
Yesterday, March 7, 2016, the album broke into the top ten of the Billboard Top 200 Albums. It debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top Rock Album chart, #2 on the Independent chart album, #4 on the Physical album charts, and #5 on the Vinyl album chart. To go along with that, it also hit number on on the both the US and Canadian Hard Rock Charts, and has stayed at number one on the iTunes Heavy Metal sales and Amazon's Best Sellers in Metal chart. Clearly, they have a success on their hands! Its a hit everywhere, and has surpassed the success of their previous album, Worship Music. That album peaked at number #12, which is still fantastic but this one did better. In regards to this success, Charlie Benante, the band's drummer spoke up to say this, “We share this Top 10 victory with all of our fans. Heavy metal is alive and well.” He is absolutely right! Congratulations to Anthrax on their success! Sixteen years ago yesterday, Disturbed's debut album turned 16 years old.
The Sickness came out on March 7, 2000, and is an iconic album today. Though it is the only album from Disturbed to not hit number one, it still is multi platinum today, and lent a hand in Disturbed's success. We actually did a review of the album just a couple weeks ago if anyone is interested in reading what we had to say about this legendary album. They have been going strong for sixteen years and only are going to go further! Disturbed is on tour right now with Saint Asonia now through the end of March, and then will be going out with Nonpoint and Mindset Evolution until the festival season kicks in. The festivals begin properly in late April, and go through out the summer. Below is a list of every festival they will be playing, be sure to check out each one to see the full lineups and locations. Ufest 2016, 98Rockfest, Welcome To Rockville, Fort Rock, Carolina Rebellion, Northern Invasion, Rock On The Range, and Rocklahoma. For any tour information, please head on over to Disturbed's official website. The other night Bring Me The Horizon appeared on Ant And Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, which is a British variety show that sounds over all rather similar to Saturday Night Live. On this installment, they decided to teach a fan's grandmother how to do something front man, Oli Sykes can do very well. And that thing is scream. It is just as brilliant as you think. Check it out below. The video is awesome, and BMTH has a ton going on. Far too much to discuss, but you can find all of their tour dates coming up on their official website.
