The Keep A Breast foundation has been a big supporter of the Vans Warped Tour for years now. Or should we say Warped tour has been a supporter of the Keep A Breast Foundation? Either one works, as its mutual support, clearly. This year is no different, and this year Pierce The Veil is directly involved. Those who donate to the Keep A Breast Foundation are potentially eligible to wing a VIP Warped tour Experience with PTV. Pierce The Veil are big supports of KAB and Vic Fuentes had the following to say.
“There's nothing better than joining forces with our fans and standing up along side them for such an amazing cause. I love seeing people at our shows wearing KAB bracelets and t-shirts, raising awareness and helping out. What we are doing together is truly making a difference." The top two contributors to the foundation will get to go to the Warped tour date of their choosing with a friend as a special guest of KAB As many know, Of Mice And Men's Austin Carlile was hospitalized the other day. Nothing was said for a while, but fans were speculating that it was his heart.
Austin finally spoke up on Twitter, sounding rather grateful for all the help and well wishes he has received. Through several Tweets, he said all of the following. Thank you for the get-well wishes, everyone. I’m transferring to Stanford University this week to be in care of my cardiologists and marfans specialists until my health situation at hand is under control. It has been a long past few days, and the ones following will be just as much of a struggle, but I can do this. And I believe that wholeheartedly. If I believe in it, so should you. I’m sorry to anyone who missed the last two shows of our tour. I would have much rather been there than a hospital bed, I assure you. Love to everyone, band, family, you. I’m never giving up. Thanks for being there for me. Waking up over and over in the middle of the night, or the nurses helping me pee, reading the tweets help." He spoke of Marfan syndrome, and this is a genetic disorder that affects the body's connective tissue. The tissues hold all of the cells, organs and tissues together. As many know, Of Mice And Men's frontman, Austin Carlile, has a disorder that does every now and then make him very sick. Over all, he's alright, as he's had surgeries and more than likely medicine he has to take to remain healthy. However, sometimes these things get the better of you. Not to mention, life on the road is not easy. It takes its toll on everyone, once in a while. We're saying this because Austin has been hospitalized. The band posted the following statement on June 7, and unfortunately had to postpones a couple of shows. Nobody has given further information at this time on any social media, this includes Austin himself, who has not posted on his Twitter page in nearly a week. Everyone's thoughts are with him at this time, and we hope he gets well very soon.
As many know, there's always been a lot of rumors and dramatics surrounding Falling In Reverse's Ronnie Radke. Just as the rumors stops, and he seemed to be living peacefully on the road with the band, more things have sparked up.
On June 3, Falling In Reverse performed at Murray Theater in Murray, UT and a fan spoke up on social media about some very serious accusations toward Ronnie. We're not going to state her full name, though other websites have. All we will say is her name is Kacee, and she stated she was sexually assaulted four times, and asked for prayers. She then went on to say that she had a broken nose, a three inch contusion on her chin and bruises all over her body from fighting back. It does not appear as though she ever stated Ronnie's name online, but a friend of hers went on quite the rant about Ronnie and this event. He called him a "talented piece of shit" and wished a slow, painful death on him. Clearly, people are attacking Ronnie online because he did tweet saying, " This is people's life's were talking about. I'm so tired of being a fucking target. I've done nothing fucking wrong!" He also spoke with Alternative Press and said all of the following. "“The Internet is a wonderful place because everyone has a voice. It’s also an awful place for the same reason. This isn’t the first time people have taken it upon themselves to spread ugly, unsubstantiated claims about myself and my friends. No one from our band or crew were arrested in Utah. After our show in Salt Lake City, we were concerned for someone who appeared to be under the influence and called 911. I personally spoke with law enforcement. I certainly was never under arrest or charged with any crime.” Have you ever seen a concert lineup and instantly exclaimed, "WHY ISN'T THIS COMING HERE?" Well, that's what we just did. Very loudly, and in public, actually. Heads were turned.
