Its that time of year again, when everyone's talking about the upcoming lineup for the Vans Warped tour. Band announcements began last week, and they are announced every Wednesday at 11/10c on the television channel, Fuse. If you do not have Fuse, shortly after, they are posted on the Vans Warped tour website, so you'll never be out of the loop for long. The announcements only began on December 4, so not many bands were announced, but they've already began announcing some of the bigger names. Joining the Vans Warped tour 2014 lineup are Mayday Parade, Attila, Plague Vendor, Tear Out The Heart, and The Protomen. This is the second year in a row for Attila to be playing Warped tour, and Mayday Parade has not been on Warped since 2012. Tickets are now on sale, for anyone who is interested in going. Mayday Parade has also released a video announcement about this, which you can watch below. In other news, New Found Glory has departed ways with their guitarist, Steve Klein. "It is with heavy hearts that we must let you know that Steve Klein is no longer a part of New Found Glory. We’ve had our differences with Steve over the years that have led us to this decision. We love Steve however personal differences have guided this decision and we no longer feel we can work with him. Rest assured that New Found Glory will still go on! After the Parahoy Cruise we are planning to write a new record and start this new chapter for our band. We have not decided on who will fill Steve’s position however we will let you know our plans as soon as we figure that out. We love you, our fans, so much and appreciate your dedication and loyalty to our band. We hope you stick by us during this difficult time. We love you, Chad, Jordan, Cyrus, and Ian" The Parahoy Cruise is a concert cruise headlined by Paramore, with support from New Found Glory, Teegan and Sara, Mewithoutyou, Shiny Toy Guns, Bad Rabbits, DJ Reuben Wu of Ladytron, and comedian, Doug Benson. This event will be going on March 7 -11, and not only will there be performances from all the people listed above, two from Paramore, but there are also pools, hot tubs, bowling alleys, a rock climbing wall. If that isn't enough, Paramore will also be doing an on deck, live Q & A, theme nights, and one-of-a-kind interactions with the bands on deck. Further information, such as prices, and departure times can be found on the Parahoy website. Several bands have released videos and video teasers. Starting with The Downtown Fiction's teaser for their newest song, "Some Place On Earth." that they posted on their Facebook page. The actual video will be released on VEVO on December 18. The song is currently available on iTunes and will be on their new album that is due out in spring 2014. Simple Plan released a lyric video for their song, "Ordinary Life" and that can be watched below. "Ordinary Life" is featured on their latest EP, Get Your Heart On -The Second Coming! The EP is available on MerchDirect and iTunes now. All Time Low 'hacked' Alternative Press' website the other day and not only did Jack Barakat post a photo of him doing his signature, middle finger in the nose move, but Alex also posted their lyric video for their newest song, "Fool's Holiday." The song is featured on Punk Goes Christmas, which can be bought in various stores and on iTunes.
