Mental issues are not a light matter, yet somehow they're constantly treated as such. The other night, while on stage, Five Finger Death Punch's Ivan Moody had a very real, human moment and unfortunately broke down. Some people have not been very kind to him, even though he needs the support more than ever right now. We're not sure what's going on exactly in his head, and we may never know. That's his business, but we're certainly hope he can find some peace and comfort very shortly in a safe and healthy manner. His band mates, Shinedown, and Sixx:AM are all being supportive of Ivan right now in his time of need. His demons are getting him down, just like they do any of us and he has done the responsible thing and dropped off of their current headlining tour. Phil Labonte of All That Remains will be stepping in for the remaining eight dates of the tour to lend a hand. When asked about this, "I got their six and stepped up right away. I'm honored to be able to help Five Finger Death Punch to finish their tour and give Ivan a chance to take care of himself. I did the same for Killswitch Engage years ago. I was humbled to get the call and get a chance to play in front of such a great audience." Founder, and guitarist for the band Zoltan Bathory spoke up with nothing but well wishes for Ivan. "Ivan is our brother and we fully and wholeheartedly support him taking care of himself so he can get well as soon as possible. We discussed possibly canceling the remaining shows but the responses from the other bands on the tour were so overwhelmingly supportive that we decided to move forward and deliver the great night to the fans that they expect.” Even James Michael, who is Sixx:AM's front man spoke up to not only wish him well, but speak in favor of Phil. "All of our hearts are with Ivan right now hoping for a speedy recovery. Phil is an excellent frontman and vocalist who stepped forward in solidarity to Ivan without a moment of hesitation. Fans are in for some special treats and surprises. I'm really excited about the show tonight." Once again, we wish Ivan all the best on finding some peace, and hope he is alright. As for the rest of the band, and Phil, good luck with the rest of the tour! We urge fans to be kind through this, mental illness is nothing to joke about, and unfortunately so far, it appears as though people have been less than poliet regarding this. He's only human, and people tend to forget that. These people who tour the world may live extraordinary lives, but they're still people just like everyone else.

Starting to day, Ben Bruce of Asking Alexandria is getting his own show! Its a webshow that will be uploaded to Ben's YouTube channel. The show is called The Daddy Diaries and will feature his girlfriend, Ciara and his adorable baby girl, Fae Holley. At the time of this post, he had yet to upload any of the episodes, but if you go subscribe you will know when they're uploaded instantly! This should prove interesting. Yesterday it was announced that Guns N Roses will be going on a brief tour around Japan in January 2017. Its a five date tour, and tickets go on sale Christmas Eve (December 24). Their support is the interesting part! Supporting Guns N Roses on this Japanese tour is Babymetal, the three piece trio that somehow mixed metal with pop, and has taken the world by storm within the last year. Off the top of my head, I can't think of anyone quite like Babymetal, which is probably why this tour came to be. The tour begins January 21 in Osaka, Japan and the concludes on January 29 in Saitama. Below are all of the tour dates, and you are able to get the tickets once again on December 24 through Guns N Roses. Tickets are going to be about 15,000 yen, or about $131! They'll be available here very soon! The 2017 Rock On The Range festival has been announced, and surely fans could not be more excited! This is the 11th annual ROTR festival, and it has a star studded lineup every year -this coming year is no exception. The 2017 festival will be headlined by Metallica, Soundgarden, Korn, and Chevelle. It will also have support from many other great bands like Papa Roach, Seether, Pierce The Veil, Bush, Skillet, Sum 41, Coheed And Cambria, and many, many more! Take a look at the lineup below! Pre-sale and Layaway tickets for this holiday season are available right now on the official ROTR website! Head on over there right now to get your tickets. Now we're wondering, what does this mean for the other festivals that happen every year? The festivals always seem to connect to one another, and we're anxiously awaiting the announcements for Fort Rock and Welcome To Rockville. Those lineups are coming in just one week, but we're making our guesses right now over in the Creator's blog. If you're curious about our guesses, or have some of your own, head on over! Festival season is just around the corner, so get excited! Its that time of the year ago! When bands are going on short tours to conclude the year, and big festivals are setting their dates for the coming year. Hi by the way, long time no talk. Life's been crazy but Fort Rock 2017 made me want to speak up to the internet once again. Fort Rock, Welcome To Rockville, and Rock On The Range all announced their 2017 dates, and I'm sure other festivals such as Louder Than Life, Rocklahoma, and more will be following suit soon but as far as I have seen, they have yet to post their dates. Fort Rock and Welcome To Rockville are the kick offs once again this year, by sharing the same dates. Both will be happening on April 29 and April 30, just like last year. It is the fourth annual Fort Rock festival, and the fifteenth Welcome To Rockville! As for Rock On The Range, it will be happening on May 19, 20 and 21 and it is the 11th festival! Lineups have yet to be announced but they will be coming for Fort Rock and Welcome To Rockville on December 5, and Rock On The Range doesn't have an announcement date yet but surely its coming soon. I'm already wondering, surely with a ton of other people, who's going to be playing this year at all the festivals. Chances are all the festivals will have similar lineups so people all over the country can enjoy the same show. Then you don't experience too much festival envy. Given the way the lineup went last year for Fort Rock, and the fact that I guessed a chunk of the bands performing correctly, I think I will try to make up another list. Give me a bit to think about it and I will get back to you. This fall and now spilling into the winter, Shinedown and Five Finger Death Punch will be going on a co-headlining tour together. Be sure to keep an eye on Shinedown's official website to get the tickets as soon as they're on sale and stay tuned because Immortal Music is hoping to go to one of the last dates on the list. Everyone in the US knows that the Super Bowl is a big deal. If you're into it or not, you still know it exists and have watched at least some of it in your life time. If you're like me, you've only tuned in on the years someone you liked was playing the Half Time show, and caught a few commercials here and there. Its primarily only been pop artists that performed, with a few rock bands here and there over the last 50 years. However, now there's a poll going on asking people to vote for who they would like to see. You can even suggest your own artist, if none of the others spark your attention. The list consists of popular artists like Justin Bieber, One Direction, Taylor Swift, Adele, Nicki Minaj, ect....but also, Panic! At The Disco. What's even cooler is they're basically neck and neck with One Direction in the polls so far. When this article was posted, One Direction had 36% of the vote, and Panic! had 33%. So its pretty damn close, and I personally think it would be very cool to see Panic! At The Disco perform at such a legendary event. Its legendary for two reasons -one being the obvious, its the Super Bowl, but its also because its the 50th one. If you wish to get involved or even just see the complete list of options you can do so by clicking here. If you click there, it will take you to the Billboard website. I have no idea how long this poll will be up, because its actually been up since February of this year. Why am I only just now hearing about this, I am not sure, but hey, maybe better late than never! Last night were the third annual Alternative Press Music Awards, and it completely dominated the internet. Just in the years prior to this one, fans got the tag #APMAs to trend world wide on Facebook and Twitter, and everyone enjoyed watching the Awards as they unfolded. Not only did they have a ton of support from excited fans, but the Mayor of Columbus, Andrew Ginther officially proclaimed July 18 to be APMAs Day in the city! That's such an honor, and I'm sure they're extremely thrilled to experience that. There was a lot going on, from seeing your favorites win awards for things like Best Drummer, Best Music Video, and more, you also got to see some unexpected performances like Papa Roach perform with Tonight Alive's Jenna McDougal. Something else special was they had fans picking between the two hosts, Jack Barakat and Alex Gaskarth, both of All Time Low, to see who was a more suitable candidate for the APMA President. Last night, thousands of fans gathered at the Schottenstein Center, which is located on the campus for Ohio State University, just for the sake of music. Even more watched as it streamed through Amazon Music and Twitch. Unfortunately, due to internet issues, Immortal Music did not get to watch any of the events, but rest assured. If any of you, like us, missed out, AP has already uploaded some of the events to their YouTube Channel, and is going to be available for streaming in full on Amazon until 7pm on July 20. Last night held a lot of great and very unique performances, such as A Day To Remember and Creed's frontman, Scott Stapp to play "Higher", which is by Creed. Rob Halford of Judas Priest joined Babymetal on stage to perform "Breaking The Law" and "Pain Killer." Andy Biersack of Black Veil Brides performed with John Feldmann of Goldfinger, former member of The Used, and current member of VavaWave, Quinn Allman, Mikey Way of My Chemical Romance and Electric Century, to perform. And so did many, many more. Originals and covers were being played in 0ne-of-a-kind ways just for the love and fun of music. Then came the main event -the Awards! If you don't wish to have spoilers, please stop reading at this point and go watch the Awards for yourself. If you're more than happy to just read about it, or have already watched and just want to recap, please read on!
