Over all, I’m not actually a big fan of Framing Hanley. There’s not a reason for it, I’m just not. However, I think they did quite a good job on this album. I thought that from the first track, “The Promise.”
I do like every track on the album, but the ones that get stuck in my head are “Weight of the World” and “Wake Up.” They’re a bit more upbeat, which I enjoy. Except for those two, even though they’re good, I feel they’re a bit generic. It all sounds -musically- like they just heard other beats and altered them ever so slightly. Because this album isn’t bad, but isn’t all that great, I give this album three stars. Its not quite passing, but not quite failing either.
