Black Veil Brides has released a brand new album, which is appropriately called Black Veil Brides IV. The album dropped officially on October 27, and frankly, this album posed many questions.
This album has a very obvious religious feel to it. For the most part, it appears to be almost anti religion, but not quite. Tracks like "Devil in The Mirrior", and "The Shattered God" depict that quite well. "Goodbye Agony" is beautiful, but also slightly concerning. Andy sounds beautiful as always, as he sings on this song. He sounds very passionate and into what he's singing about, but it does almost sound like someone has not been okay. "In blood, I draw the line, I've given all my pride." Whatever happened to "Never Give In"? Its possible they were just speaking for those who have fought with self harm for a while because another track "Drag Me To The Grave" could be quite empowering to those who have had a history with that. It also sounds like it could be the theme song for a movie, for some reason. Honestly, the whole album stands out. It poses a lot of questions, including the inspiration behind the songs, and if everyone in the band is alright mentally. BVB definitely did not disappoint with their fifth album, and certainly gave people something to think about. This interesting album has received a four star rating.
