Everyone knows the classic, "Thnks fr th Mmrs" and many other FOB songs. I think everyone knows the Fall Out Boy name, and I feel like this album (and From Under The Cork Tree) play a big factor in that.
If you ask me, songs like "Thnks fr the Mmrs", are not only beyond relatable, but a class of this generation. "Thanks for the memories, even though they weren't so great." Its so simple, but who hasn't felt like saying that to someone at some point. We've all been treated badly by someone, even if it didn't hurt us. That's one of my favorites, but so is "I'm Like A Lawyer By The Way I'm trying To get You Off." I always thought the title was irrelevant to the song, that was until I got a little bit older. Then I realized what they were really talking about. I suppose I should have realized sooner, seeing as they clearly say, "Me and you, sitting in a honeymoon. If I woke up next to you..." Its pretty obvious that sex was implied.
This was at the height of Fall Out Boy's career soI have to say this is a five star album. They did a marvelous job.
All reviews have the date they were written, the album title, and the band's name, with the exception of Life Starts Now by Three Days Grace and Dear Agony by Breaking Benjamin. Those dates were guessed at, as they were written well before the website began.
