When I first heard Sleeping With Sirens, I didn’t like them. His voice just rubbed me the wrong way. That changed after I heard their cover of “Fuck You” from Punk Goes Pop 4, so I decided to give their music a chance. First impressions aren’t always right, and in the case of this album, it was definitely wrong.
While I feel the first track, “Do It Now, Remember It Later” was a bit repetitive lyric wise. “If you can’t hang” picked up a lot, though. Its all about meeting people that aren’t right for you, or can’t stay around. The way its all put together tells the tale of people entering your life and leaving again several times through out your life. My favorite track though, would have to be “All My Heart”. To me, it sounds almost like a love letter to someone. Simply saying, “You still have all of my heart.”, it is incredibly sweet! Give this album a chance, once you adjust to his voice, I’m sure you’ll love it. The lyrics are great, Kellin sounds really passionate and the most is great too. I give this album five stars.
