In April of 2015, Art Of Dying released their much over due EP, Rise Up and it was much worth the wait. Art Of Dying truly never disappoints, and this one was actually slightly heavier for them.
It wasn't incredibly heavy, but it had a little more of a kick to it than other works they have released in the past. The entire album has a similar theme, which makes the title for the EP highly appropriate. Its all about life and living your life the way you want, not the way someone else wants you to live. Most of the tracks give that vibe, though only the title track flat out says it. This EP was bound to happen from Art Of Dying at some point. I mean, after all, their motto is "The art of dying is my life to live." So of course at some point they were going to write about it. Let this EP empower you! To quote singer, Johnny Hetherington, "Rise up! Take my life back." This life is yours, make it how you want it to be. While doing that, let this EP become part of the soundtrack! You can get it now on iTunes, and can catch Art Of Dying at several festivals such as Rock Allegiance, and the Aftershock Festival coming up this October.
