The Temperance Movement is a blues rock/ hard rock band from London, England, and on September 16, 2013, they released their first full length, self titled album. They have a very interesting sound, that has a classic rock feel to it. It feels as though they would compliment bands like Hinder, Daughtry, Nickelback and Sons Of Reverly very well.
Just under half of the the album was actually released previously as an EP in 2012. Those songs included, "Only Friend", "Ain't No Telling", "Pride", "Be Lucky", and "Lovers And Fighters." We would say this would be one of those 'easy listening' albums. Something you would turn on when you're trying to unwind from a long day, or when you would like some background music when you're working on something. Over all, we don't have a ton to say about this album. Its a perfectly good album, but nothing actively spoke to us. Its definitely likely that others will feel differently, but for us, its just not our cup of tea. Check it out for yourself though, and decide for yourself what you think! You can pick up the album on iTunes now and can catch The Temperance Movement live at several festivals coming up this fall. There's the Louder Than Life Festival on October 4, Rock Allegiance on October 10, Aftershock on October 24, Voodoo Experience on November 1, and the Winter Rocks Festival on December 5.
