If you've been on Facebook, or maybe even just YouTube today, you may have heard that Falling In Reverse has released a brand new music video. The video is for their song, "Alone", which they have been playing live at shows recently. Now, I liked the song when I saw the live videos, but when I saw the actual music video with the studio recording on it, I found myself having a whole other opinion on it.
I can't say I hate it; because I don't. Like many others, I don't quite know what to think. When someone told me that they expected Ronnie to be rapping in new songs, I told them they were nuts. Well, apparently they weren't nuts. This song honestly sounds like it should have been a Hollywood Undead song. Now, I've never been a big Hollywood Undead fan, but this isn't a bad thing, per say, its just not what I expected from Falling In Reverse. I don't like rap, or hip hop either for that matter, so honestly, I'm not too fond of this song. The chorus is great, and I did enjoy some of the lyrics, but a lot of it, in my eyes, just wasn't up to the standard Falling In Reverse set themselves up for with The Drug In Me Is You album. A change in sound was to be expected, but this? This might be a bit too far. Many do love the song, but I've seen more comments saying that they didn't know what to think than anything. I'm hoping the rest of the album, Fashionably Late will be different from its first single. So, I've stated my thoughts on the song, now its your turn. Leave me comments here or on Music = Life's about the song. Thanks for reading!

The true worth of a man is to be measured by the objects he pursues.
