Uproar Festival 2014 was a whirlwind of a day for Immortal Music. It was filled with music, interviews, and a lot of excitment. It also ended up a bit wet -which ended up nice for a while. The day began for Immortal Music with a two hour road trip with someone very close to them. Nerves were high, because festivals tend to be a bit hectic and nothing can be guarenteed even if it seems like it is. Schedules get thrown around and things change in an instant. The main concern was that interviews would not happen, and Immortal Music would just be put on the back burner. Luckily, everything worked out fairly well. There were a few small issues, but these issues did not pin me to the floor. The first one rose up when we got to the venue, and Escape The Fate's tour manager, said he was having to deal with some matters and to hang tight. Of course, we did. What else could we do? We also asked if everything was alright, and he said yes, but half of the band disappeared to the gym and he was still waiting on them to get back before he could get any of the interviews going. So, we decided to just go ahead and get our tickets and head into the venue. We did a little bit of merchandise shopping and checked out some of the set for the Battle Of The Bands winner for our date, Black Jacket. They sounded good, though we didn't actually see their set from where we were. After that, was Sons Of Reverly, who did incredibly well. Once again, we did not actually witness their set. This time, however was due to the fact that we were in line for Escape The Fate's signing. During their signing, Craig Mabbitt got geniunely excited over my friend's tattoo, which quotes, "Forget About Me." So much so, that he had to take a picture and thanked him for it. He responded by saying Craig is one of his idols. That made Craig even happier, and he shook his hand and then went, "I must kiss your hand!" It appeared to be a joke, but he actually did it. Its quite apparent that Craig really does appreciate his fans a lot. Also during that signing, I decided to ask TJ if their tour manager was the guy under the tent with them. He said yes, and then promptly asked, "Why?" He sounded a bit concerned, and it instantly reminded me of something that happened at Uproar 2012 with Deuce. Luckily, I don't think he thought he was in trouble, he was just concerned. When I spoke with their tour manager, he apologized again for all the craziness and stated that we could do the interview just after their signing. I told him I'd hang out by the tent, so I could just easily follow him back to where we needed to be. As we were standing there, the friend that was with me poked me and said, "I'm not postive but I think Paige from WWE is here." As he was showing me a picture of her on his phone to confirm why he thought that. I questioned it, and said so, but then she walked over to him. She didn't give a greeting, just flat out asked, "Were you staring at me?" I instantly got concerned, and started to just excuse him, but I was not fast enough. He explained she looked like someone that was all. She sort of smiled and asked, "Look like Paige?" He said yes, and then asked if she was Paige and she laughed and said yes. I told him later that he got damn lucky there because not only did his idol remember him from a previous show but he met someone he really liked totally out of their element. Its fanfiction material, really. Then we walked back to the bus area, where the tour manager promptly set up a tent so we all had some shade, and Robert and Kevin Thrasher sat down. A lady did a quick interview with them, and then it was my turn. That'll be up soon, so stay tuned for it. As I was getting my camera and questions ready, I realized I was still wearing this ugly straw hat that was only there for shade purposes. I muttered to my friend, who was going to man the camera for me to, "Hold this ugly hat." Because I definitely did not want to wear it during the interview. Robert, apparently heard me. He all the sudden goes, "Ugly hat? Its not an ugly hat." I sort of brushed it off, thinking he was just being poliet and explained that I didn't like it, but it was cheap and a good way to have some shade. His response was something I quite liked, "Its not about looks. Its the way you wear it and your attitude when you wear it." He probably was still just being poliet, but frankly, that's something that'll stick with me for a while. I'm not going to talk about the interview too much, because it was all on camera and will be linked here as soon as its uploaded. As I was finishing my interview with Robert and Kevin, I hear music being blasted from inside the tour bus. Robert gets up and says he's going to get TJ and Craig to answer the questions for the other interviewer that was there. TJ flings the door open and goes, "Hey! So who's interviewing us?" The other guy there said he was, and then TJ goes, "Then come on! You have to interview us while we're partying." I'm so curious as to how that worked out, but sadly I lost the paper where I wrote down the publication the guy was with. It was 'The Fury' something, but for the life of me, I cannot remember what it was. I'm hopeful to come across him one day, so I can see what happened on that bus. With that done, and Within Reason already scheduled for later on in the day, I decided to bother Sons Of Reverly. We had walked past them on the way to Escape The Fate's bus area, and their set had already passed so I felt like they had plenty of time left. No time had been set for their interview, so it was all up to me. I walk over to their RV, and a whole bunch of people are sitting under a tent outside of it with the lead singer, Toby. I stopped walking and polietly waited for him to finish his conversation, but then he looked over and said, "Hello..." He sounded a bit curious as to why I was standing there, so I decided to just get into it. I explained that I had an interview with his band but had not been given a time to do it. He automatically decided to just go ahead and do the interview. We started to do the interview outside, but fairly quickly ended up heading into their RV. That was interesting, and frankly, they reminded me of Asking Alexandria, personality wise. I've never met Asking Alexandria, but interviews can tell you a lot about a person. It was kind of crazy, but a lot of fun! Again, I'm not going to talk about the interview too much, because it was also all filmed. By the time we got done with the interview, it was time for Escape The Fate to get on stage. We pretty much walked out there with them because they were heading to the stage, right as we were walking back into the venue. We quickly stopped Craig for a picture, and wished him luck on the set. Despite the fact that I couldn't see much because everyone else is normal heighth and I am tiny, I really enjoyed their set. I had been really looking forward to it, for many reasons, one of them being because I had not seen them in three and a half years. Another reason was completely because they were the first set I knew I was able to watch all the way through without a single interuption. I expected a great set -and a great set is what the entire crowd got. Something in particular that amused me was just before they began "Gorgeous Nightmare." Craig decided to hype up the crowd by having all the guys scream, and then the girls. He alternated between the guys and girls for a moment, and then just got everyone to scream. He then goes, "This song is dedicated to all the ladies out there who swallow. Thank you!" That made just about everyone laugh, and probably hyped everyone up perfectly for the song. Up just after them was Buckcherry, and we had every intention of watching their set, but the person at the show with me started not feeling well. So, we decided to sit down while they were on stage. We could still hear them from where we were at, which was closer to the amphitheater, but couldn't see them whatsoever. While we were over there, we found ourselves chatting with random people, and ended up running into some familar faces. Its truly amazing the types of people you can meet at a show. Also while we were sitting there, a first happened. I've only been to a few festivals in the past, I admit, but it has never rained even a little bit at one. It started raining just a little bit at first, which was actually extremely nice and refreshing. However, it kept going and slowly started getting heavier, and it also brought lightning with it. People were all starting to try to take cover under anything they could. We found a bit of shelter under an awning, but we did still end up soaked. It was nice to say I was cold, and it did give me an excuse to wear the brand new jacket I had just gotten, but I was rather concerned about all the technology we had on us. Two phones and two cameras -neither thing was water proof. Luckily, all the technology did make it out okay. What is unfortunate is the posters that we got signed by Escape The Fate were not so lucky. One poster just got a bit banged up, but the other got totally destroyed. Its a minor set back, considering all the memories and merchandise we now had. After about an hour and a half of watching people dance and dart through the rain, the rain finally let up and the show had to go on. David Koonce, bassist for Within Reason was texting me to let me know that he still wanted to do the interview. He just had to help try to dry off all the now drenched merch, and then would get back to me so we could do this. He had also previously told me that their bus was hectic right the moment because they had friends in town. Something told me right then that they were a bit busy, so I kind of expected that something would not quite work out. He kept in contact though on and off all day, and was being really nice about it, so it was honestly okay that the email ended up being post poned for the day and was actually done over email. These Raven Skies were supposed to play, but to keep everything on track after the storm, they ended up getting cut. Its disappointing, because surely they wanted to play, but what can you do? Pop Evil took the stage, and we were so far back, to see anything, we honestly had to watch the screens. They sounded great though! They surprised me though, by not playing, "Monster You Made." They did however, play other hits such as "Trenches." Seether followed them, and they also were wonderful. Because of them, we got to experience that magical moment that happens when the entire crowd sings along. That came with, "Broken." Which comes as no surprise, honestly. It was beautiful. The crowd also seemed to really get into, "Country Song" and "Tonight." Last up, was Godsmack. Due to time restraints, we only stayed for four songs, none of which I can remember at this time. By the time they even got on, my brain was basically off. It had been a long, hot, hectic, awesome day. Uproar, you may have stressed me out through all the anticipation, but you definitely did not disappoint yet again. There's only one festival I like -and that is Uproar Festival. Uproar 2015 -bring it on! Big thank you again to Uproar Festival for providing tickets, and David Koonce, Sons Of Reverly, Robert Ortiz, and Kevin Thrasher for doing interviews with me. You all made Uproar 2014 one hell of an experience. Be sure to keep checking back here, Facebook and YouTube for interviews, and pictures from the event!

A rush of relief has hit me this morning! I've been anxiously awaiting to hear back from a few tour managers to confirm interviews. Two, I thought were already confirmed, and then they appeared to be up in the air. Along with another one, that actually asked me to interview them. They have yet to respond acknowledging my acceptance of the interview. So, we'll see if that happens.
The relief that came over me though was Escape The Fate's press person did finally answer me back. His email confirmed that I do still have my interview with Escape The Fate! Now, however, its actually at a much better time. It was previously set up to be at six pm on August 30, it is now set up for 1:15 on August 30! This means, I'll get to do the interview before the doors open, and before nature has time to make all of us sweaty and gross! Some force of fate finally made me not want to escape it. That was a bad pun, Ariel. Don't make bad band puns. Anyways, I am still waiting to hear back from Within Reason and Sons Of Reverly to get everything sorted out, but the biggest one is now figured out. The other two, frankly, I plan on just bothering at the show. Its not the proper way to do things, but who cares? We don't apparently don't always play by the rules here! It'll all work out one way or another. Regardless, be on the look out for a ton of content about Uproar this coming week. There'll be so much content about it that you'll probably be sick of hearing about it. As I have said several times in previous posts, there will be a blog about the experience along with a vlog, a ton of pictures and any interviews I may get will be posted through out the week. There will also be a festival essentials video uploaded the day after Uproar, which is Sunday, August 31. It'll be pre-filmed, with some stuff that I feel I must bring with me to a festival. I just felt like it'd be a great tips and tricks video for people. I don't know, maybe I'm making too big of a deal out of Uproar, but its a big deal for me so I'm making a big deal of it online. Its also the first big concert I've been to since April 2013! The only other one I've been to since then was the wonderful acoustic show with Zach Myers of Shinedown and Justin Moore of Ingram Hill. This is going to be a great experience, and I sure hope you guys enjoy all the content that'll come out of it. By now, its been made abundantly clear that Immortal Music will be attending the 2014 Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival. It is said to be 'abundantly clear' because it appears as though this website cannot shut up about it.
As it stands right this moment, as this blog is being written, the show is just four days away. Now is when the nerves start to set in, as hiccups begin to arise. Everything has been going smoothly -until the evening of August 25. Do Monday's always have to be a drag? This particular Monday went swimmingly during the day, even involving Uproar. Some supplies, such as water bottles that will be frozen and granola bars were purchased, and interview questions were written out. And then, several emails came into the inbox. The first, was from the press person for the over all Uproar Festival. She is a wonderfully nice woman, who Immortal Music has spoken with several times previously in the past. She stated that due to limitations set by Livenation, and room in the pit, not everyone would be allowed photo passes. One of the ones disallowed, is Immortal Music. This is not only disappointing, but caused quite a few worries. The photo pass, while its only true purpose is to allow photographers and journalists to step in front of the barricade for the first three songs, also serves as a semi imaginary purpose. It can stand as a visual aid to security guards that you are indeed allowed to go back to the bus area, ect for journalist reasons. This happened to me once in 2012, at Uproar infact. I had a hell of a time getting to the bus, because I was given the wrong contact information for the band's tour manager, and they were telling me once I left, I could not come back. Thankfully, that all got sorted out when Redlight King's tour manager walked by and escorted me to the tour bus for my interview. Then coming back in though, the security guards were trying to stick to the "No re-entry rule", and the security guard ultimately said I could go in partly because she saw my pass and how geniunely upset I was over the fact that she was not letting me back into the show. This time, something will be done differently -someone will escort me back, just so I know I am safe. So, okay, once I wiped the scenerios out of my head involving security saying I'm not allowed to get to my interviews because I don't have a pass, I realized that is just a minor disappointment. That being said, I did email the press woman about my fears, and she did promise to try to get me to a pass. She just, sadly, was not able to. Its understandable, these things happen, but that does not detract from the disappointment any. Then I moved onto my other emails, and saw two others invovled Uproar. Both were interview requests, but one worried me. One was from Escape The Fate -cool, right? Escape The Fate's press person came to me, asking if I'd like to do an interview. It'd be quite unreal -except a month ago, I had it 'confirmed' that I'd be interviewing Escape The Fate at 6pm at the show. I was also given the tour manager's phone number and all that. I thought everything was squared away, and set in stone. So, having realized the man that I previously spoke with about Escape The Fate clearly forgot we had this all scheduled scared the hell out me. So, I emailed him back stating I already was greatly anticipating my interview with Escape The Fate, and forwarded him his own email where he said it was confirmed for six pm on August 30. I also asked if he could answer me as soon as possible, just in case anything had changed. There was some hope that I'd wake up this morning to an email saying something along the lines of, "Sorry, that got lost somewhere in the shuffle of things. You still have an interview at 6 o'clock on August 30 with Escape The Fate. Call the tour manager so they can escort you to the bus." No such luck. As of right this moment, we don't know where we stand with Escape The Fate. Hopefully, they get back to me as soon as possible and stick to the plan or re-schedule the time for the same day. Because frankly, this is an interview that's been on my "dream interviews" list since I started doing this thing three years ago. Fun fact! I decided to give journalism and interviewing a shot, right about the same time I saw Escape The Fate for the first time in 2011. And the first interview I ever did was the guitarist for Drive A, who I met at the show I just mentioned! I actually tried to get Drive A to put in a good word with Escape The Fate for me, but they never did it. So, this has been a long time coming and I am greatly looking forward to this. Not to mention, I am nervous now that it might not actually happen now. I'm hoping they get back to me sometime today, and then let me know its still on and everything's good. Along with that email, came one from the press person for Sons Of Reverly. They were offering up an interview before or after their set, which will be at 2:55pm, and i admit -I had never heard their music until I recieved this email. I decided to give them a shot, and I actually was greatly impressed! Even more so when I heard the quality of their music, and to find out they have under 4,000 likes on Facebook. They are actually the Uproar Battle Of The Bands winner, which honestly is something I must congratulate them on. I know how hard that is to get, from personal experience so I will end up congratulating them on getting in. Plus, I realized as I was typing this up that I was supposed to check in again with Within Reason's press person for furture details at the end of July. I forgot all together! That's honestly because, this is my second interview with them, and when I did it previously, I had no contact information so I just ended up walking up to their merch tent and asking Chris Dow (their singer) about the interview. To which, we did, under the merch tent, while I was sitting on someone else's merch box, that honestly looked like a tool box. I kind of figured I'd just be doing that again, but then it dawned on me that I still don't have any contact information just in case. So I went to do that and saw an old email where I said I'd touch base with him at the end of July. I feel so irresponsible for forgetting! I started work near the beginning of July, and have frankly, been busy as hell ever since. I've talked about it enough here on the website, I don't need to explain again. So...I'm stressed out about Uproar, and am just hoping it all works out. I will still be going, even if nothing happens. You will also be getting a festival essentials video on Sunday, August 31. That's going to be pre-filmed, so there will be no Uproar related stories in that as nothing happened yet. That same day, you will get a blog about the entire experience and any pictures I took. All the pictures will go up on the Facebook page, and select ones will be included in the blog. Then Monday, if the interviews happen, you'll get at least one interview and others will follow through out the week. One may be in place of a normally scheduled video, or it may not be. We shall see. Its all up in the air right now, and I'm not okay with that. Oh, by the way, I found the set times for this show. The website has them all listed for each date on the website. Here they are, in reverse order of when they post. On the main stage will be Godsmack at 9:25 PM, Seether at 8:05 PM, Pop Evil at 7:15 PM, and These Raven Skies will be opening the main stage at 6:45 PM. The small stage lineup is Buckcherry at 5:30 PM, Escape The Fate at 4:40 PM, Within Reason at 4:05 PM, Tattered at 3:30 PM, Sons of Revelry at 2:55 PM, and the Battle Band Winner at 2:25 PM will be opening the day. This should prove to be an interesting day, and hopefully I will vlog it all. That'll be uploaded at some point during the week as well. I feel I should also mention that postings all over might become slightly sparce over the next week as I work a ton this coming week. So bare with me. Thank you again for all your support. I appreciate it a lot, and look forward to posting all the Uproar festivities I have recently been talking a lot about interviews I have coming up, and three of them are this month. The first for this month, was supposed to be yesterday (August 17) but sometimes life gets in the way.
The Ballyhoo! interview is still happening, but unfortunately, it will be over email now. Originally, the plan was to do this in person, at a show in Sarasota, Florida but Immortal Music had to change such plans. This is due to the fact that, our car decided to drop its axle and attempt to drag it around the mall parking lot for fun two nights before the show and while a new car will be in our possession soon, it was not yet. So, the questions were sent to their press person over email and I will post it as soon as possible. I hate that this has happened, but it has, and at least they are understanding about it. Luckily, I think everyone understands car issues, because sadly, they are just part of life. In other interview news, I have sent an email requesting an interview with ATTILA now. This will just be over email, but still pretty exciting. I have yet to receive a real answer, because their press person sent me an automated message saying they are out of the office and would get back to me soon. The message said they were only out of office until the 18 (the day this was posted) so hopefully, they answer me back with a proper answer in the next couple of days. I also still am waiting on the answers from Adelitas Way and Bayside. I'm seriously getting worried that the questions will be lost in the shuffle of other things and never answered. That might sound like I'm just making things up in my head, but its actually happened before. Nobody is aware of this, but I actually had an interview in 2011 with Memphis May Fire. Don't go look for it, its not on the website. They never answered my questions. I think it was probably over looked, and I had forgotten about it until I was looking through old emails the other day. Its not a big deal with them, as at the time, I don't actually think I knew more than a song or two, but I really want the answers to at least Adelitas Way. The questions I asked Adelitas Way revolved around the new album, Stuck, and I am genuinely curious as a fan of their music about what they'll say! So, hopefully, I'm not lost in the shuffle, because frankly, I really want the answers. Uproar Festival 2014 is still happening! My best friend will be driving up with me, and I do plan on vlogging. There's going to be a lot to do with this festival. There'll be a ton of pictures, two interviews, a recap blog, and a vlog all about it. The recap will also be in video form, but the blog will come the very next day. So on August 31, you will get a ton of pictures, a recap blog, and probably one of the interviews. The vlog will be uploaded probably the following Tuesday, and who knows how long it will be. I'll be doing so many things, there's a good chance I will not film a ton, but I will try. I will also try and get Jeremy to vlog from time to time too. Though I cannot promise that he will do it, because I've never gotten him to vlog before, and frankly, most people think its weird. It is weird, but I'm used to it at this point where I just have to make myself do it and then its no big deal. I probably do not need to tell you again, but just in case you haven't been around, I will do it anyways. The interviews I will be getting at Uproar are Within Reason and Escape The Fate. I am still holding some hope that I might get a last minute interview with someone else, but I'm not holding my breath. I only say I have some hope for it because in 2012, I got an offer for an interview the night before the show, so there might be a possibility. Only ones I have not heard one way or the other from yet are Seether, Redlight King, Godsmack, and Buckcherry. Personally, I am hoping for Redlight King, mostly to see if they remember me from 2012. I didn't interview them, but I did have an interesting encounter with two of the members. I told the story in a video, which you can watch here, if you're interested. I'm also considering making a video about the "festival essentials" that I personally feel I have. If I do that, that'll be uploaded on the Thursday before Uproar, which is August 28. So...that's what's going on with me. I will keep you guys posted and I hope you're all doing well. Let me know what you're up to, and if you have any questions for Within Reason or Escape The Fate, send them to me. You can also feel free to send me questions for ATTILA, or Pvris. Just send them to me on the Facebook page, preferably through a message and please make sure to state which band your question is for. I will try my best to ask as many of them as I can, but if I already know the answer or just don't feel its a suitable question, I will let you know. By that, I mean, please don't go, "Can you tell Fronz I love him and ask him how he got so badass?" I don't want to tell any band member anything for you, because it doesn't look good on my part and you should get to tell them yourself! It'll mean more coming from you anyways. I'm going to go now. Thank you for reading and I seriously do hope you all are well! Before I begin, I just want to state flat out that this is not music related. I almost added, 'not in the slightest' but actually, I'll probably throw in lyrics here and there so its not going to be too bad. Plus, it is based off a musical -and its Disney none the less! So, its okay, right?
As you probably can see by the title, this is regarding Frozen. If you saw one of my more recent videos, you probably were informed that I (much like most of the internet) have an obsession with Frozen. I admit it, okay? I am twenty one years old, and honestly can say I am drawn to anything Frozen related. I am not ashamed to admit that I own an Olaf doll, three shirts featuring Olaf, and the DVD (which I insisted on buying the day it came out.) And of course, I get excited upon hearing anything regarding this damn movie. You've probably heard that Disney has confirmed there will be a sequel to the movie at some point. Some claim this was decided the day the movie entered theaters, but I kind of question that. At the same time though, we all know how must Disney loves a sequel. Do we need to discuss all the Cars movies there are at this point? Anyways, I heard a new rumor today, which has me curious. Supposedly, Disney is making a sequel -but in book form. Not just one book, but two are definitely being released and more may come out later on. They say you will get to know Anna and Elsa and their relationship between two books that will be released on January 6, 2015. The first is Anna & Elsa #1: All Hail The Queen and the second is Anna & Elsa #2: Memory And Magic. While this sounds interesting, a question comes to mind -is this going to be a book for adults to enjoy, or will an adult look very weird reading a book written for a second grader? Personally, I would love to learn more about Elsa and Anna. For example, what caused Elsa to be born with her powers? Did once of her parents have powers we didn't know about? Was she given it because of a some magical flower like Rapunzel in Tangled? Did Anna ever ask her parents why Elsa was so reclusive? What'd they tell her, if she did ask? Did Anna and Christoph try to get married after just knowing each other for two days? Did Elsa bitch about that? These are the questions I want answers to. Of course, there is more, but you get my point. I have a ton of questions, and would like to see a sequel. I'd love to see someone get under Elsa's skin and she finds herself in love, even though its totally cheesy. I'd love to see Anna and Christoph be their totally awkward, adorable selves together, and I want to see Olaf's happiness some more. Everyone needs an Olaf in their life, just throwing that out there before I continue on. Anyways, as much as I do indeed have unanswered questions and all that, I really don't think we need a sequel. Which is why I kind of like the book idea, but I don't want it to be a children's chapter book. That's probably will be what it is going to be, because its supposed to be a kid's movie. Though I think more adults love it than kids! Or maybe its equal -I don't know. In case you're curious, I got all of the information about the books from this website here. A friend tagged me in a post about it via Facebook, as she knows there's two things I have a major obsession with. Most things music related, and most things Disney. I just felt the need to say something somewhere, and well...this is my website, I can do what I want on it, right? Let me know what you think, if you even care and I will talk to you guys later. Thanks for reading! Bye, bye! Psssssssssttttt.....Do you wanna build a snowman? (It doesn't have to be a snowman.) Hey everyone! I feel like I have been so inactive online! Only thing that seems to have stayed consistant has been YouTube and I will explain that all later on. I have recently become extremely busy, as I now have a paying job, on top of all I do with Immortal Music and Remedy X. Because of that, I feel I should do another update blog. I did one recently, but I'm doing it again. Maybe I don't need to, but whatever. I feel like it, so I am. Someone will read it, I hope. Anyways, I now work in a retail store that actually encourages piercings, tattoos and crazy colored hair. I've been working there about a month, and over all I am not going to name the store's name. If you figure it out, that's cool. If I accidentally say it, that's fine too. I am allowed to talk about it, just am trying not to for a while. Honestly, I have no reason for that, but I'm doing it anyways. Things are going great there, I'm actually getting more hours than I was told I was going to get -which is wonderful! Tiring, yes, but so worth it. Its helping feed this career! Speaking of, I have three interviews this month, and several pending. On August 17, I will be interviewing Ballyhoo! in Sarasota, FL. I'll be doing the interview just before the doors open for the show and frankly, I'm quite excited! I'm not a huge fan of Ballyhoo! But they have a certain charm to them that I can't help but appreciate. This is my second interview with them, but first in person! On August 30, I will be attending Uproar Festival 2014. This is my second time going, and frankly, I am very excited. I will be getting my second interview with Within Reason, and I am greatly hoping that they remember me from Uproar 2012. I interviewed their singer, Chris Dow and their bassist David Koonce, and had a wonderful time, so I am hoping it happens again! I think I said that in a previous update blog, but the thought is still there, so it is being mentioned again! And maybe you didn't read the other one so its news to you anyways! I'm starting to ramble, I will stop with that and move on. I have not been given a time for that interview, but I'm thinking it'll be one of those things that happen when there is time. Now for the second interview I have for the day, is one I have greatly anticipated since I started doing all of this. At six pm I will be interviewing Escape The Fate. I will have to miss someone's set, though I am currently not sure who's set it will be but I am really looking forward to this one. I also just, as I was typing this blog up sent out requests for interviews with Mayday Parade, Tonight Alive, Major League, and Pvris. I have already heard back about Mayday Parade, and Pvris. Sadly, Mayday Parade said no for this time around, but thanked me for my constant support! That was because I mentioned that I have interviewed them once before, but it was back in 2011. So, hey, there's always next time! Pvris on the other hand, said they're putting me in their 'running doc', which I believe means I have the interview. It will be filmed, and I told the lady that emailed me back that I try to keep my interviews under twenty minutes, so it should be a normal interview for me. I have been told in the past to keep some interviews under five minutes, but they always tell me that after I do the interview, and frankly, if anyone watches my YouTube channel -They would certainly know that I am incapable of making a short video about 95% of the time. Its rare when it works out. I was also asked if I could email ATTILA's press person after Warped tour concluded to do an interview over email. So, that is something I need to do. Meanwhile, if you have questions, please feel free to submit some. I am also waiting for Bayside and Adelitas' Way to answer me back with answers to questions they were already sent. Both were sent at the end of June, and due to hectic schedules or something, I have not gotten my answers back! Hopefully, they find the time to answer me back soon, because I for one am very excited to hear what they had to say. Especially for Adelitas Way because I mostly asked about their new album, Stuck, and am just geniunely curious as a fan of the music! Basically, to recap all that part- If you have questions for Ballyhoo!, Within Reason, Escape The Fate, Pvris, or ATTILA, please feel free to send them to me. I may also need questions for Major League, Tonight Alive, but those are not guarenteed yet. I will be going to see Ballyhoo! on August 17, Uproar 2014 on August 30, The Pretty Reckless And Adelitas Way on September 21, AND Mayday Parade with Tonight Alive, Major League And Pvris on November 14. There'll be interviews up soon with Adelitas Way and Bayside, a possible one with ATTILA, and I definitely have ones with Escape The Fate, Ballyhoo! And Pvris. Questions are welcome for all, just please message them to me on the Facebook page and make sure you tell me if you want your name involved or not, and which band you are asking the question for. Now onto other matters. I'm almost done, I promise. As I said, previously, I am working again, and its keeping me pretty busy. They have me working a lot, and I am totally not complaining because I actually really like the job, my co-workers and most of the people that come into the store. BUT, because of that I am online less, and there for not getting to chat with you guys, or post blogs and articles as much. I promise though, I have not forgotten about you! I'm actually thinking sometime before Christmas, I'm going to get the t-shirts made that I've talked about for over a year. I have already talked to some people, and someone said they can make the shirts for me. So, I am going to make a few to start with in the next few months, and might start just by selling them locally, but I think when I get them going I will do a giveaway or something so someone out there can get one. I don't know if that's what I'll do yet, but I want someone to have one! With my new job, for some reason has actually come a sudden social life. Which is really nice, actually, but again detracts from you guys. I'm learning the balancing act here, which is something everyone needs to do in their life! I will get the hang of it soon, I promise. I have felt so bad that I haven't been able to stay totally regular with you guys with my posts and what not but please know I still love you guys and am not giving up. Life is just getting really busy at the moment, so things are changing a bit, but its still all good! As you can see by this whole post, there's a lot going on with Immortal Music, as well as just my life in general! I am still going to write as much as I can, and obviously you'll have a lot of interviews to check out soon. I'm still going to be posting videos on the same schedule I have been, which is Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday and sometimes vlogs on Saturdays. That is not changing, though the thought has crossed my mind to cut out a day here and there, but I haven't fully decided yet if I'm going to do it. For the most part, YouTube is not a big deal. Its just for fun, and I film three to four videos at a time, so its pretty easy to get it all worked out. I film for a couple hours, edit here and there when I have time, and then upload. I often actually leave the videos uploading while I go and do other things, so its pretty easy to manage. Only thing left to cover is Remedy X. They're still doing good. Now that Warped tour is over, they don't need nearly as much of my attention as they used to. They have two shows this weekend, and we have a couple others scheduled for the next month or so. I am working on getting them more shows, but so far its not with anyone in particular. If you want to keep up with them, checking out their Facebook would be the best idea. We will hopefully have a website up for them soon, but I told Josh (Remedy's lead singer.) that I would play around with designs and stuff and maybe come up with something basic for them, and I haven't quite had the time to do that. We'll see what happens there. Oh! They were on a podcast last month and it was just uploaded! I'm excited about that, because I was there and its kind of cool to hear it all done and edited, and just remember it all. I'm in it too, actually! If you want to check that out, its The Audiohenchmen and I bet you guys will really like it. It was a really good time and I'm very glad I was able to be apart of it. I think that about covers all that's been going on, but I kind of feel like throwing in there what I've been listening to lately. I've found myself listening to a lot of All Time Low, 5 Seconds Of Summer, The Used (Particularly their song "Cry" off of Imaginary Enemy), Adelitas Way and Fall Out Boy. I'm actually loving the new Adelitas Way album, and older Fall Out Boy. Like, "Sugar, We're Going Down" has recently been played a lot for me. Now I think I'm done. I ramble, don't I? Sorry...hopefully you don't mind! Actually, I bet you don't...if you made it to the end of this, you probably like this sort of thing. Thank you for reading, I love you and really hope you are well. If you are not, please know that it always gets better and if you ever need someone to talk to, please don't hesitate to message the page, or talk to anyone. You are never alone, and don't ever convince yourself otherwise. I love you, don't forget that, and I will talk to you soon! Let me know what you've been up to and listening to, please! |
