Many of you are aware that I have been using Blogger for my Creator's blogs, but I felt I should post something here real fast saying so. When I get the money, I will upgrade and start posting the blogs here again, but for now, they are on Blogger.
Oh, and here's a link to an article I wrote about my night at The Noise Tour featuring Mayday Parade, We Are The In Crowd, You Me At Six, The Make, and There For Tomorrow. It was an incredible experience that I am beyond thankful I was able to have.
Some of you may have been on the Facebook page and saw me complaining about having to change the website. I have a free account currently, and while I do plan to upgrade to pro, at this point in time, I can not afford to upgrade. So I can contiune posting, I had to remove some things. I refuse to remove any album reviews or biographies, as they're very important to the site. To make room, I removed about fifteen old blogs I have posted, and thirty-nine of the old music news. All things that have been posted in both sections are still there, and older ones that I felt were important enough to stay on the site are still there.
I also deleted the Song Of The Day page. Its honestly not a big deal, you can always find the Song Of The Day on the Facebook page. The deletions needed to happen, and I am currently trying to figure out some alternatives. I am considering deleting the 'About The Creator' page temperarily, and just putting all that information on the Facebook page either in the info, or in a note.
I now understand why in just three months I filled up five megabites. There were 60 music news, and about 25 blog posts, as well as videos for each Song Of The Day that has been posted since early September.
Meanwhile, in the time I have to wait to get a pro account, I will think of alternatives for things. I am considering putting the creator's blog temporarily on the old blog site I used to use before I got Immortal Music, and I am also somewhat considering do the same for the music news. Not sure exactly what I'm going to do yet, if anyone has suggestions, please tell me. I need the help!
I am also considering just making another site, making it look just like Immortal Music, but only have the music news and blog on there, so there's more room freed up on both sites. That was a suggestion of my mom's, and then the two could just be connected. I don't know, I suppose it is an option.
One more thing, I am going to be changing the pages for the album reviews and band biographies later today. I've been considering doing this for some time now, just so its neater and nicer looking then it currently is. Those may be unaccessible for today, but I promise the inconvience will not last long. Thank you for bearing with me, I greatly appericate it guys.
Um, keep checking back, and oh, hey, before I forget, nobody has given me any feedback about the Immortal Awards! Do that please, if there's no help, it probably won't happen. I still want some feedback about posting videos too. I'd link those to the Facebook page, and they'd be on my
I've been trying to think of things to add to Immortal Music a lot lately, I haven't had a lot of ideas, but I am trying to think of more. Last night though, I was on the phone with my best friend, and we were discussing a possible idea that we may go with.
She doesn't live here, so the idea will be altered a bit over the months. I have been talking about adding an entertainment section to Immortal Music for a while, just so there's a little more contrast. My problem is that I do not keep up with all the movies, books, actor hype, anything like that. I am strictly music, I don't even think about anything else really. She, however, does.
So, the point I am getting at is maybe she could after a while make video logs about various things. Some videos will probably be her randomly talking about something, and news, and fun stuff like that. Honestly, knowing her, it'll mostly be random talking. The reason it will alter a lot is I will be visiting her in Febuary, or at least I'm hoping to. While I'm there, we'll be making the videos together. Quite honestly, it'll turn into the most random conversations, that will probably make no sense to anyone. She was thinking after I leave, she'd just contiune it, and put them on her YouTube channel, blah, blah, blah.
I had the thought this morning, and I may try this out if people are into it, that I could do a practice run. Post a few videos I do myself, just to see if anyone watches them.
I've never done any vlogs before, infact, I've only ever made a couple random videos. None of which ever have gotten shown to people, partly because they either got deleted, or I have no way of sharing them on YouTube. I probably could find something to talk about, and they'd probably be a lot like how I will post these random blogs. So, is that a good idea? If it is, please leave a comment on the Facebook page. I'd say here on the website, but Facebook is so much easier.
For that matter, tell me if its an awful idea even! I want to know. Please let me know. Also, please give me some feedback on the Immortal
Hey guys, quick announcement. I know a lot of magazines do this, and there are a ton of award shows all through the year, but I want to do my own awards.
I want help though, so I need fan participation on this! I want to have suggestions for several catagories. You can even suggest catagories. Below are what I have in mind, and I'm thinking whoever gets suggested the most defentily get put into a catagory. Then on a set date (I'm thinking December 1, or possibly the 31st), I'll announce the winners, and post speical graphics for each band. Possibly even make some form of virtual award.
Obviously it won't get very big, as nobody famous knows who I am yet, but I will even try to bring their winnings to the attention of the bands. Below are some catagories and bands I have in mind. I don't have a lot yet, I need to put a lot of hard work into this, and need suggestions.

If you have any suggestions for something in a catagory, or a catagory itself, please submit them to me. It may not get chosen, but all will be considered. :) The easiest would be on the facebook page, but there is a contact form on the 'About The Creator' page.
I'd like suggestions to be in by Thanksgiving (November 24, 2011), and then I'll start the voting by December 1. I'm leaning towards announcing the winners on New Years Eve, so I can end the year right.
Blogs of various topics go here, and all are written by Immortal Music's creator. You never know what you may find here, so have a look around.
