In the May recap blog, I told you about the Rock Allegiance Festival that will be happening this October. With that, I stated that it featured part of my dream concert lineup, and it was suggested to me that I write about my actual dream concert lineup. I may have talked about that at some point in the past, but things do change, so its worth talking about again.
This is my dream lineup -which means more than likely its impossible. Well, not entirely, but the big festival one that I'm about to put together will never happen. Dream big or don't bother, right? So, up first is the normal tour lineup, which is only four bands. That lineup is Saint Asonia, Art Of Dying, Shinedown and Papa Roach. Which frankly, I think that lineup is totally possible, and may just happen one day. When it does, it best come to Florida because I don't want to miss it. The festival though is where the actual dreaming starts, and this is what I am almost postive I have talked about at some point in the past. I picture it having two stages, and being an all day event. Stage one would be the smaller stage, which will be the active stage during the day. On it would be some very talented smaller bands that I personally enjoy, along with some other bands as well. Some of them I know semi personally, some I just enjoy. That list is as follows; Remedy X, Sunshine And Bullets, Nine Mile Drive, One Less Reason, The Last Sleepless City, Elisium, Adelita's Way, All Time Low and Pierce The Veil. The main stage would be much busier. There would be Art Of Dying, A Day To Remember, Five Finger Death Punch, and Seether, Shinedown, Saint Asonia, and Papa Roach. Five Finger Death Punch and Seether are thrown in there bcause they're two of my mother's favorites and I think throwing htem in there would be a nice touch. If I'm really dreaming here, I'd throw in the Jonas Brothers somewhere. Most people would hate that, but if they got back together, I'd be quite happy to see them again. I actually do have a set up in mind for the over all festival, like where the stages, food and water, and merch tents will be set up, but i'm not telling that stuff just yet. I would love for Immortal Music to have its own festival one day, so all the ideas are being sealed shut for now. But see why I had to apply for the Rock Allegiance Festival even though its five states away from me? It features Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, Saint Asonia and Art Of Dying, who are all on my list. Plust it features Bring Me The Horizon, who I would like to see live, Pop Evil, who is great live, Hollywood Undead, who I wouldn't mind giving anotehr chance, and so many more. Its a wonderful lineup that frankly should be a tour. Since its not, I'm going out on a limb. Its worth a shot, even if it doesn't end up working. What do you think of my festival lineup? Alternatively, who would be on your dream lineup? Let me know! Surely, this is going to spark some interesting answers. Facebook/ Twitter / Instagram
