Hello there! Chances are if you're seeing this, I either sent it to you, asking for assistance with a band, or you are a fan of my website. Either way -hello and welcome! Second, let me apologize for looking obnoxious via social media. Please know its for an exceptionally good reason, and will be over soon enough. Third thing, I wrote this article to get all the details out there, so everyone can be in the loop. I've been using Twitter to promote them, and Twitter does not have enough characters to explain much of anything. So, this felt like a good alternative.
Just in case you don't care about the details of this in the slightest, and just would like to help out, right here is the link to their Warped tour page, Facebook and Twitter. You can vote once per day, per email address you have -and for as many bands as you'd like every single day. You do not have to like them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter, but it'd be appreciated if you did. Thank you very much for your love and support. Its highly appreciated by myself and the band. http://warped.battleofthebands.com/u/Remedy_X Facebook- facebook.com/needtheremedy Twitter - Twitter.com/needtheremedy Now, let's get into this, because I really don't think you want to read a jumbled tangent about good intentions and such. This is about the Warped tour Battle Of The Bands, and I have been working extremely hard to get one particular band on Warped. This band is Remedy X, and I am their manager. You probably don't have a clue who they are, but that's the thing about music...every band is once unknown to you and the rest of the world. All of the greatest musicians out there once were nobodies. Everybody deserves a chance. Not to mention, new music is always awesome. You might not like them -and that's fine. You also might love them, and you will not know unless you give them a chance. So, what I am asking in a very long, convoluted way, is if you could check them out and vote for them to be on the 2014 Vans Warped tour. Hold on, there's some details you need to know. -Yes, the tour has started already. But this Battle is for all the dates, but bands do NOT get to play the entire tour. -The cut off for each band depends on the date they are trying to play. Ours is July 11, because we are trying to play on July 25. -We might not be coming near you, but that is NOT a reason not to vote. Here's the thing -Warped tour has been where so many musicians got their start. Their first real chance at the lives they dream of. It only takes one person getting interested to make or break someone's career. We might only be trying to play one date, but it could be a life changing day! Who knows what could happen in that day. This could possibly open doors for us that will one day bring us to your neck of the woods. Doesn't matter where you are -it could happen one day! We just need to be given our chance. Another very confusing thing is we're not sure if we're in or not as of June 22, 2014. It appears at first that its the top 200 bands get onto Warped tour. So, we've been working toward getting in the top 200 on the Battle Of The Bands list for over three months now, and today we got in. Remedy X as of about 10 AM on Sunday, June 22 was at the 199 spot. We need to get into a safe zone, of at least 180 to be guaranteed a spot. OR SO WE THOUGHT. Today, the bassist of the band, Patrick, noticed that while the main part of the website says the top 200 bands get in, the rules say its the top 100. Some messages have been sent out to Warped tour, and bands that should know one way or the other if they will be playing now (due to their cut off dates.) to find out, but nothing has been acknowledged yet. There's a lot of unknowns, but we're not giving up now. Until we're told votes no long count, and time is up, we're going to keep going. Its been a long, stressful process, but its worth going for. I hope someone out there understands. Once again, you can vote for them here, and you can vote once per day, per email you have. Voting for them does NOT effect you voting for another band, you can vote for as many bands as you'd like every single day, as far as I am aware. You can also check them out on Facebook and Twitter, if you're interested. Thank you so much for your assistance. Its appreciated more than I think anyone out there understands. If they get on, everyone will know, because I will post something here about it, on their Facebook page, and probably will be contacting people who voted through Twitter. Thank you once again!
