As of today, their frontman, Brandon Bolmer and their drummer, Tanner Wayne, quit the band. Statements from both Brandon and Tanner are below, as well as a message from remaining band members are below.
"The reality is this: I have had little to no contact with the guys, except for Tanner, since our last US tour in July/August 2011. There may have been a phone call or two between Brad Bell and I, but they were short and sweet. I must make it clear that I have nothing bad to say about any member of Chiodos.
Working and touring with them was mostly a great time other than a few hiccups here and there, it happens when you’re always together. The guys know how to make a dark situation light, and we’ve had a lot of great laughs. However, the last tour we did was pretty intense. There were more frequent arguments, and it seemed that we were reaching a point of extreme frustration for the whole team. There were talks on that tour about Jason leaving to go to school and spend more
time with his wife, people said they were done with it, and at my lowest points of the tour, I had even said that I was done doing it. It was a hard time for everybody. When a band has to take steps backwards, its stressful. Whetherthey admit it or not, I think this was the underlying reason for most of their
unhappiness. Nobody wants to take a step back, specially when you’ve been working hard for roughly 10 years to get where you’re at. The reason for the lack of communication since the last tour is beyond me…It just seemed that one day, nobody wanted to talk about the band on a serious level. At one point, a few months back, I sent an email to everybody in
the band to see what the situation was for the future of Chiodos…again, it didn’t seem that anybody wanted to do the same. Could it have just been me they didn’t want to speak with? Possibly, I don’t know. I feel that I put everything I had into Chiodos once I joined, dealt with a lot of pressure,
bashing and whatnot, and did the best I could for the situation… so I really don’t see any reason why I would be the main reason for all of this. Maybe everybody was just…over it?
With that said, I have decided to leave Chiodos. I know some may be upset with this decision, but people grow, we evolve, that’s life. Sincere apologies to anybody that may be let down by this news. Mentally, I left the band half a year ago….today is just the day Im making it public. I’ve been in 2 bands over a 10 year period…singing and screaming, and it’s just time for me to do something different. As far as the rest of the band goes, Im not sure what they plan to do…and to those thinking I may know some info on the whole “Craig trying to get back in the band” thing…I don’t know, and my opinion on that will remain personal." -Brandon Bolmer.
"Mentally, I’ve been out of Chiodos for a while now. Sadly enough, our personal and business relationships went to shit. Just being honest. The last tour was the roughest of times for us. Within the first week I tore several ligaments in my right ankle and another member broke his foot. On top of that, I heard a member wanted to leave to go to school and start a
family. That was it for me.
I tried to contact the band after the tour and they didn’t seem to care. That’s that.
Since the summer, I joined Emmure for a European tour with Suicide Silence as well as a US run. I am now apart of the Big Bad Production team, run by Sky Blu of LMFAO, as well as drummer for W.E.E.D, featuring Sky Blu and Shwayze." -Tanner Wayne.
The official band announcement from Facebook states, "Hey everybody. Long time no update, we know. We figure it is about time for one after seeing the news today, that you've likely seen by now also. Unfortunately, Tanner and Brandon have decided to leave the band. We have been at a stagnant
state for the last six months, so the fact that they are ambitious to move on with their lives is totally justified and understandable. We've had some killer experiences with them and were able to write one of our proudest albums with them in the hardest of times as a band. We ask for all of our fans continued respect and support towards them and us in our future endeavors. We must all keep looking forward........"
By the sounds of it, Chiodos is now done making music under their name. Rumors of Craig Owens, who is now in Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows are so far proven to be untrue. Craig Owens has yet to say anything about this, but seeing as Craig has said several times

Not many people know who they are, but I'm sure in time they'll be known. Lower Lands comes from a small town in the UK called Lincoln, and have been around since 2010. Since then they have shared stages with many bands such as Iron Chic, Crazy Arm, Talons, Shapes, and Deaf Havana.
They will also be releasing their very first EP, Growing Pains on April 14, and you can watch a video for "Reality In Routine", which is featured on the EP.
If you go over to our Facebook page, Music = Life, you will be able to find a short biography on the band, as well as some comments on Lower Lands from a few UK magazines and websites.
You can watch their music video below, which is on the offical I Am Mighty Records YouTube account, MusicVamp527.
You can currently pre order "Growing Pains", and it will be out on April 14.

Now I can not wait to go and see big time bands like All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Falling In Reverse, Mayday Parade, Sleeping With Sirens, and The Used all in one place! Who can you not wait to see?
Not only has The Used moved their release date for Vulnerable up one day (March 27 to March 26), but they have now premiered two new songs through Alternative Press. Austin Carlile from Of Mice And Men is currently in the hospital with heart issues! He already had surgery about a year ago, getting an aortic valve replaced, and apparently he is back in the hospital. No, Woe, Is Me, is not actually breaking up, but they are having yet another line up change. Their original singer, Tyler Carter left the band several months ago now, but now their Micheal Bohn, and both Ben and Cory Ferris are leaving the band! What is it with Woe, Is Me, and not being able to keep their band together?
The band posted on Facebook late Wednesday night about the situation.
"What you've heard is true- but it's something that we've prepared for, addressed, & already handled. Trust us, when we say "everything is going to be just fine" (; Oh, & we'll be seeing you in two days. So be ready (; @WoeIsAustin @andrewpaiano @woeiskevin @hance_ @dorianomagliano & @briannmedley

Not many people are aware that a new bassist for Escape The Fate has been chosen. The band has yet to make an official announcement about it, but former Motionless In White bassist, TJ Bell has confirmed that he is Max Green's replacement.
His Twitter description says, "Ex guitarist from Motionless In White. Now playing bass in Escape The Fate."
Another mystery solved! If you'd like to follow him on Twitter, please follow the link included below. How does everyone feel about this? Leave a comment!
There has been a lot of talk the past few months about Maxwell Green being kicked out of Escape The Fate. There was never a question in that, but a couple months ago a rumor began swirling around that he had rejoined the band.
Last night, Max confirmed that those rumors are untrue by tweeting, "Well everyone, I'm doin good. No I'm not playing in ETF anymore. Long story, basically personal and perhaps slight musical differences."
Later Tweets wents on to say things like, "I don't think it's how anyone WANTED it to go down, but everything happens for a reason I guess.", "Still making music....always. Hopefully you'll all hear it again one day", and " I still have a few tricks up my sleeve, never bet against max the ripper, you'll lose every time."
Nobody knows who's going to be Max's replacement, but fans will get to find out soon. Escape The Fate will be heading to South America on March 17 and will be playing there until March 25.
North American fans can check out the same tour April 5 through May 16. You can check out thiswarisourstour.com for more details.
Escape The Fate has yet to announce who will be filling Max's spot, though there's been rumors that former Falling In Reverse member, Mika Horiuchi will be replacing him. Whether that's true or not, nobody knows yet. They also have completed their next album already! More details are still yet to come on that.
What do you think about this? Do you think they were wrong kicking out Max, or were they right? Do you think the rumors are true about Mika joining ETF? Leave a comment telling what you think!
