The first five artists for the 2016 Alternative Press Awards have been announced! Several more will be coming but AP earlier posted the first five and a couple were actually a little surprising. Even though all are pretty big names. Papa Roach has also been hinting at premiering a new song at the APMAs! The band is in the studio right now, so chances are they're dead serious!
Hopefully more will be coming very soon! Meanwhile, be sure to vote for all the different categories and get your tickets now for the APMAS! They happen on July 18!

Somehow the internet refused to show us this and we're slightly concerned as to why this is going on.
We actually had half a mind to say it was an April Fool's prank because none of the band has said anything regarding this, but we've now heard it from Ticketmaster and Loudwire, and this was posted before April 1, so clearly this is something serious. Five Finger Death Punch has just had to give up an opportunity of a life time and will sadly no longer be performing with Black Sabboth. They also have to cancel all of their Australian tour dates because front man, Ivan Moody has been hospitalized. He went into the hospital last Thursday, for undisclosed reasons. Some are speculating possible substance abuse, there for massive health problems or rehab. We're not sure, as the band hasn't said anything, but we're slightly concerned....Zoltan and Jason are avid Facebook users, so for them to not say a word regarding this must not be a good sign. If we hear any more details, we will let you know. Okay, so this sounds like a total prank and honestly, if it is, then Danny went all out. Danny Worsnop posted a music video on his YouTube Channel. A friend of ours posted it and said "Country fans should listen to this." I thought it was a damn April Fools joke, but clicked on it anyways. Until I got to the chorus, I still thought it was a joke because it sounded nothing like Danny. Apparently he is going to release a solo album. According to the description of the video, it will be called "The Prozac Sessions" and will have a release date soon.
So either this is legit or a very elaborate prank...not sure which, but I'm not hating the song. Very well acclaimed hard rock band, Bullet For My Valentine has switched record labels!
This may be April Fool's Day but let it be known that this is no joke! Previously BFMV has been with four different labels, including Visible Noise Records, Jive Records, Sony Records, and RCA Records. RCA is the only repeat label they've ever had. The last two albums, Temper, Temper and Venom were both released through RCA Records, but all the rest of their five studio albums were from different labels. Now, they are welcomed with Search & Destroy Records and Spinefarm Records! Singer, Matt Tuck was quoted saying the following about this switch. “We’re very proud and excited to announce our signing to Search and Destroy / Spinefarm Records. It feels great to be part of a family that truly believes in the band and is ready to take us to the next level. It's been an incredible journey so far – but with the Search and Destroy / Spinefarmteam behind us, it feels like we've just begun. Here's to the future." Along with this exciting record label switch is a ton of tour dates, including many festivals and the second leg of the British Invasion tour with Asking Alexandria.
