Shinedown has released a brand new song, which will be on their upcoming fifth album. This song is called "Cut The Cord", and Brent has decided to encourage fans to play this as a statement. A statement of never giving up. "To our Fans, our Family... ...And in your truest moment of weakness...When everyone and everything has betrayed you and evil and hatred has wrapped itself around your mind, body and soul...This is the song that you play...This is the statement to the world that you will not give up, you will not give in, and you refuse to fail!!! Now is your time...to "CUT THE CORD". We love you... We have returned." -BRENT S./SHINEDOWN It is much better than the clips they showed lead us to believe, but definitely is slightly different for them. The official video will premiere later today on Billboard, but you can hear the official track now. You can also get it on iTunes if you're interested. Shinedown never lets us down, and always is throwing out the surprises. Now bring on the new album!

Saint Asonia has released a second single off of their upcoming, self titled debut album. This track is called "Blow Me Wide Open", and while the title leads us to believe that it is extremely sexual, the song doesn't quite go with that. The song definitely has its sexual undertones, especially with the pause in the middle of the lyric, "You blow me wide open." This will be featured on the debut album, which comes out July 29. You can pre-order it now and get one of the most unique pre-order bundles we have ever seen.
You can get the album on its own, but you also can get the bundle that features a signed album, a t-shirt and a poster that features the names of everyone who pre-orders! That is probably one of the coolest ideas we have ever heard. You know what you will find on there if you get it? Not only will you find your name, but you will find Immortal music. You can pre-order it now on their official website. After a somewhat ominous video and a change on Facebook the other day, all the suspicions were proven to be true. DISTURBED IS BACK! At 5:30am EST, Disturbed posted the following post, and the internet went crazy over it. "The Vengeful Ones" is the first song Disturbed has released in five years and the video for it appears to tell quite the story. We don't wish to give anything away, so we recommend you just watch it for yourself. You can pre-order the album now on Amazon, iTunes, Google Play or through Disturbed's official music store.
All pre-orders through Disturbed's website gives you pre-sale access to an upcoming tour that has yet to be announced, a digital download of the album, the deluxe edition of the Immortalized CD (both psychical and digital), and an instant download of "The Vengeful One." The bundles range from $13 to $45. The most basic package is just the album, both digital and psychical, the single, and the tour pre-sale. The second is $27, and has the digital album, the single, an exclusive bonus track, the tour pre-sale, and an LP of Immortalized. The third is the deluxe edition of the album (again, both psychical and digital), the single, a PictureDisc for "The Vengeful One" done instrumentally, the single, tour pre-sale and an exclusive bonus track on the digital album. Lastly, is the deluxe edition of the bundle which is $45. It includes the deluxe CD, the LP, "The Vengeful One" single, a PictureDisc for an instrumental version of the single, a digital bonus track, and the tour pre-sale. Hopefully the tour dates will be coming soon, but until then we must wait. What do you think of "The Vengeful One"? And how do you feel about Disturbed's return? Let us know and remember the album comes out August 21. On June 20, 2015 Disturbed randomly changed their cover and profile picture on Facebook, and posted a strange video. The video features a possible zombie, just laying on a bed breathing for 4:51. So....is Disturbed back? What do you make of all this? Watch the video and let us know. Rumors did spark up a while ago that they were back in the studio, so maybe this is a sign? That being said...what's with the pure black profile picture? The cover picture is pretty cool though, admittedly. That being said, the video left us...well, disturbed. That, perhaps, may just be the point though. Maybe some answers will come soon, but we will just have to see.
A rumor is now going all over the internet that Slipknot will be going on a two year break once this tour concludes.
Whether or not this is true has not been totally confirmed yet (by us, anyway) as we cannot find any official posts from Slipknot. That being said, several websites are stating that Clown has some movies coming up he wants to make, and then added, "So everybody is gonna do their thing, and then, in a couple of years, we'll get back together and see what happens again. Kind of what we used to do before we lost Paul." Truthfully, while the source has not been found, it does sound quite possible, just given the past for Slipknot. Some found it very surprising that they made 'The Gray Chapter', just because they did say it didn't feel the same after Paul Gray died. Anything is possible, but meanwhile you can catch Slipknot on tour with Motionless In White for a lot of the summer, and then at several festivals later on. The song is called "The Divine Zero", and the lyrics are quite hard hitting and the sound just screams PTV. They have stated that they cannot wait to play it live at Wapred tour and share it with fans. What do you think of the song? Let us know! The brand new group, Saint Asonia has been working on their debut album for quite some time now. Fans have been anxiously waiting this release, but the wait is coming to an end. The self titled album will be out July 31 and below is the track listing. 1. "Better Place" 2. "Blow Me Wide Open" 3. "Live My Life" 4. "Even Though I Say" 5. "Fairy Tale" 6. "King of Nothing" 7. "Waste My Time" 8. "Dying Slowly" 9. "Trying to Catch Up With the World" 10. "Happy Tragedy" 11. "Leaving Minnesota" Adam Gontier, the band's front man has stated that this is some of the heaviest stuff he had ever written but the album also features a couple straight forward, acoustic tracks! Which ones are which? Well, we don't know yet, but certainly cannot wait to find out. The band has hinted at a tour beginning in August, though no dates have been announced just yet. Hopefully they will come soon. Meanwhile, you can watch the lyric video for "Better Place" and live footage of that, "Fairy Tale" and "Live My Life" from Rock On The Range. Pierce The Veil will be on the 2015 Vans Warped tour, but fortunately, they will have to be going on without their guitarist, Tony Perry. Last weekend, Tony Perry was taken to the hospital after a serious mountain biking accident. Tony had three broken ribs, a collapsed lung, a broken sternum and a torn shoulder. He had surgery to get all these things under control, and luckily has been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery soon. That being said, he will not be able to join the band at the beginning of the Vans Warped Tour. They hope he will be able to join them at some point on the tour, but due to doctor's orders, he has to rest up and heal before going on tour. Meanwhile, be sure to send Tony your best wishes over on Twitter, @Tony_Turtle and be on the look out for Pierce The Veil on the Vans Warped tour June 19 through August 8.
Psssttt! Immortal Music is going to be at Warped tour on July 3, with Remedy X! Details are here, but information on merch is coming shortly. In April 2013, Bring Me The Horizon released their fourth studio album, Sempiternal. There's been a lot of mixed reviews about it, as this album had a vastly different sound than their previous albums. However, tons upon tons of people clearly agreed that it was a fantastic album because the album has now gone gold in the UK! That means it has sold over 100,000 copies since its release. This does not count the sales from the US, or any other continent, but we cannot seem to find the details there at this time. All we were able to find is that it debuted at #11 on the Billboard Music Charts when it was released, and sold over 27,000 copies in the first week alone here in the US. Were you one of the thousands that bought the album? We were! Let us know your favorite songs on the album below?
Ours is a tie between "Antivist" and "Go To Hell For Heaven's Sake." On August 28, Five Finger Death Punch will be releasing their brand new album Got Your Six.
Today, their much anticipated first single has been released. The song is called "Jekyll And Hyde" and while the band promised that this album was going to be heavier than all their others, this song does not quite go with that. It is slightly different for them, but only very slightly. Ivan speaks of his demons, which he has previously mentioned are greatly involved with his writing process. You can hear the song now on Monster Energy's official website and catch 5FDP on tour with Papa Roach and In This Moment this fall. For more information, please check out their official website. What do you think of the brand new song? So far, fans are expressing some mixed feelings. Some are saying its badass and love it, others are asking "That's it?" and feeling as though its a bit generic. Are 5FDP living up to their promise for a heavier album or was that a lot of hype? Nobody knows for sure and we will just have to wait til the end of August to find out for sure. Meanwhile, check out the song and let us know what you think. |
