From "Falling In Hate", you're hooked! Or at least that was the case with me. I love the line in "Falling In Hate" that says, "Is it right, is it wrong? You and I don't belong."
What actually drew me to the album was their cover of "Bad Company". They did a fabulous job on the cover, and I loved that they added, "Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, blood for blood, we've all gotta die." It just sounds so amazing its easy to over look the somewhat depressing lyrics.
The biggest appeal for me to 5FDP is Ivan Moody's voice. He has one of the sexiest voices I've ever heard. To add to that, he brings a lot of passion to every song.
I'd have to say my favorites are "Falling In Hate", and "Bad Company", even though the entire album is amazing. I'm not sure what's not to like about this album. Their singer has a Godly voice, the lyrics are deep and powerful, and their instrumentals are strong and just as powerful as the lyrics.
If you like hardcore metal, don't pass up this album! It is the definition of hardcore metak. There's no other rating for this album than five stars.
All reviews have the date they were written, the album title, and the band's name, with the exception of Life Starts Now by Three Days Grace and Dear Agony by Breaking Benjamin. Those dates were guessed at, as they were written well before the website began.
