Chances are, I've made it abundantly clear over the past three years that I really like song lyrics. About a month ago, I gave "advice" through lyrics, and for some unknown reason, on this Halloween morning, I started combining lyrics. Most of these lyrics are meant to inspire and I hope you enjoy this combination nearly as much as I had fun putting it together. This took me about two and a half hours to throw together, and was restarted about three different times. I'm considering making this a monthly thing, simply because its fun. Perhaps I can even start throwing themes into the mix just for fun. I think I do this because some lyrics just really stand out to me, and some even seem to go perfectly along with another. Plus, its just fun. Maybe this'll make someone feel a bit better, if they're having a rough day. All the songs are listed in order of use at the bottom of this post, by the way. Some songs were used in more than one place, because they seemed fitting.
Maybe I'm a dreamer, maybe I'm misunderstood. Maybe you're not seeing the side of me you should. Maybe I'm crazy, maybe I'm the only one. Maybe I'm just out of touch, maybe I've just had enough. And maybe its time to change and leave it all behind, I've never been one to walk alone. I've always been scared to try. So why does it feel so wrong to reach for something more? To wanna live a better life. What am I waiting for? 'Cause nothing stays the same -maybe it's time to change. I can almost see it -that dream I'm dreaming. There's a voice inside my head saying, "You'll never reach it." Every step I'm takin', every move I make feels lost with no direction. My faith is shakin' but I, I gotta keep tryin'. Gotta keep my head held high. There's always gonna be another mountain, I'm always gonna wanna make it move. Always gonna be an uphill battle, sometimes I'm gonna have to lose. Ain't about how fast I get there, ain't about what's waitin' on the other side. It's the climb. Its funny how some distance makes everything seem small. And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all. Its time to see what I can do, to test the limits and break through. No right, no wrong, no rules for me. I'm free. Its easy to feel like you're all alone. To feel like nobody knows the great that you are. The good that's inside you is trying so hard to break through. Maybe its your time to lift off and fly, you won't know if you never try. Fly - open up the part of you that wants to hide away. You can shine. Forget about the reasons why you can't in life, and start to try. 'Cause its your time, time to fly. Pick yourself up off the ground. You're sure as hell too good to let them hold you down. Stand up and scream while the rest of the world won't make a sound. Steppin' up, spit the fire, I'll back it up. Count me in, I'll turn it out. I'm killing it, you're burning out. Never change, never break. I'm the real, you're the fake. I was great, you were fake -nothing personal. They say you were created to do great things, but words only come to life when you believe. Stop blending in, start speaking out. Don't miss your opprotunity. Don't let anyone tell you that you're not strong enough. Don't give up. There's nothing wrong with just being yourself -that's more than enough. So come on, and make some noise. If we stand for nothing, we'll fall for anything, so stand up and scream while the rest of the world won't make a sound. They say its never too late to stop being afraid, and there is no one else here, so why should I wait? And there's a map in my mind that sends me on my way. 'Cause life starts now. You've done all the things that could kill you somehow and you're so far down. But you will survive this somehow because life starts now. All this pain -take this life and make it yours. All this hate -take your heart and let it love again. You will survive this somehow. You're not alone -you're with me. Don't let the world bring you down. There's always hope for the willing. Don't let the world bring you down. Its not over -you're not alone anymore. You're not alone, together we stand. I'll be by your side, you know I'll take your hand. I'll be by your side, you know I'll take your hand. When it gets cold, and it feels like the end. There's no place to go. You know I won't give in. No I won't give in. Keep holding on. 'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through. When it falls apart, and you're feeling lost, all your hope is gone, don't forget to hold on. I am not alone, not beaten down just yet. I am not afraid of the voices in my head. I am not afraid to keep on living, I am not afraid to walk this world alone. All I want is a place to call my own, to mend the hearts of everyone who feels alone. You know to keep your hopes up high and your head down low. So maybe tonight we'll start all over. Like its the first day of our lives. Right here an now, no second chances. Maybe we'll finally get it right. Tell my mother, tell my father I've done the best I can to make them realize this is my life. I hope they understand. I'm not angry, I'm just saying sometimes goodbye is a second chance. Never give in, never back down. There's no giving up now. There's no going back when life's a loaded gun. Here's to the nights that'll change your whole life, here's to the times you go and give them hell. If you believe in something, it might as well be you. If you're going off at nothing hidden with the truth. 'Cause one day you'll wake up, and see in you a different kind of animal with nothing left to lose. One day you'll wake up. What else could I do? One day you'll wake up. So go for it, run toward it -dive in head first. Live life with no regrets. Put your heart out there, you might be scared. You might get hurt, but it'll all work out in the end. How many moments have passed you by? How many tears have you let dry? Over every dream that you let die. How many things have you kept inside? How many things have you never tried? What would you do if you were out of time? Well you better run. You better run as fast as you can. Because the world tries to stop you, stop you, stop you whenever it can. You better live like it’s the last day of your life. That first step you take is the longest stride. Live every day like its your last chance to be heard and seen, because the good die young and the great change the course of history. Live every second, here and now -don't let go. Songs used: 1. Maybe -Sick Puppies, 2. The Climb -Miley Cyrus, 3. Let It Go -Idina Menzel (Frozen.), 4. Make Some Noise -Hannah Montana, 5. Fly -Hilary Duff, 6. So Long, And Thanks For The Booze -All Time Low, 7. Never Give In -Black Veil Brides, 24. No Giving Up -Crossfade, 25. There's No Going Back -Sick Puppies, 26. Different Kind Of Animal -Adelitas Way, 27. The Best Has Yet To Come -Hinder, 28. Run -Sick Puppies, 29. If Today Was Your Last Day -Nickelback, 30. Legacy -Memphis May Fire (again), 31. Live Every Second -Tokio Hotel. There you go 29 songs, all rolled into one very long, blog/ article. Whatever you want to call it is fine. Maybe it inspired someone out there to keep going. Everything those lyrics say are true, you can do this. Remind yourself of one thing over and over again, when things aren't going so well - "If I can get through this, I can get through anything."

The 3rd annual Immortal Music Awards have begun! Now through the end of December, questions will be asked about once a week and you guys will be encouraged to answer them.
Several four questions have already been asked, and you can feel free to answer them if you'd like. The main focus though for right now is the following question. What do you think is the best album of 2014? Just to clarify, this must be an album that has come out in 2014. Example; Gerard Way's Hesitant Alien or Black Veil Brides' Black Veil Brides IV. Please actually answer this question, because without your participation the Immortal Music Awards are nothing. Telling a friend to do the same would also be a great help as well. If you'd like to see what else has been asked, feel free to click here and here. Other questions have been asked in other blog posts and more will come in the weeks to follow. Once again, a picture showed up on my Facebook news feed and it made me want to write a blog post. This one wasn't based off any sort of conversation, this was just more fun actually. The picture asked what your favorite lyrics were, and while I did answer, and could have just posted it on the page with a few more responses -where's the fun in just that? Well, there's actually a lot of fun in that, but this is even more fun! Maybe, anyways. Its more fun to me.
We all have some part of music we prefer. Some prefer the rhythm and beat, or particular instruments in the song. Others prefer the lyrics. I am one of those people who are drawn to the lyrics. Even if the song is 'meaningless', and its just fun, the lyrics still have to be fun or catchy to draw me in most of the time. I don't know why I am saying all of this, I guess I just am in a writing mood. I won't keep rambling shortly and will just get into my favorite song lyrics. I do actually have a ton listed on here on the website, but there's a high chance a lot of you haven't seen that list. If you'd like to, I'll link it at the bottom of this post. If not, well, then you can just read on. I put the whole list anyways, so that part isn't relevant, but maybe you haven't seen the rest of it so it'll be linked anyways. These lyrics are in no order, just in the order I thought of them. "Keep your hopes up high and your head down low." -A Day To Remember, All I Want "Dedication takes a lifetime, and dreams only last for a night." -Stay Awake, All Time Low "If you take it from me, live your life for yourself. 'Cause when its all said and done, you don't need anyone else." -A Day To Remember, All I Want (Yes, again. I really like this song, okay? It speaks to me.) "I'm married to the music for better or for worse." -Bite My Tongue, You Me At Six "Stand up and scream while the rest of the world won't make a sound." -Ungrateful, Escape The Fate "Chances to move mountains are few and far between, but only unseen by those who choose them to be. Live every day like its the last chance to be heard and seen. Because the good die young and the great change the course of history." -Legacy, Memphis May Fire "When it falls apart, and you're feeling lost, all your hope is gone, don't forget to hold on." -Hold On, Jonas Brothers "This world will never be what I expected, and if I don't belong -who would have guessed it?" -Never Too Late, Three Days Grace "Maybe its not my weekend, but its gonna be my year." -Weightless, All Time Low "Our scars remind us that the past is real." -Scars, Papa Roach "I reserve my right to feel uncomfortable, I reserve my right to be afraid. I make mistakes and I am humbled every step of the way. I want to be a better person, I wanna know the master plan. Cast your stones, cast your judgement, you don't make me who I am." -Sometimes You're The Hammer, Sometimes You're The Nail, A Day To Remember "Its funny how some distance makes everything seem small. And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all. Its time to see what I can do, to test the limits and break through. No right, no wrong, no rules for me. I'm free." -Let It Go -Idina Menzel There's probably a ton more that I am forgetting to mention, because I constantly am finding lyrics that speak to me. I could also explain why all these lyrics mean something to me, but maybe I'll save that for a video series! Does that sound good? It sounds like a possible plan to me! Also, here's the link to the page I previously mentioned. Its just some stuff about me, and a bit of back story behind Immortal Music. It might not interest everyone, but surely someone would be interested. What is it with bands picking fights with one another via Twitter? I've never been a big fan of Twitter, if I'm honest, and never really have been a fan. I don't know how long its been going on, but there always seems to be some band member calling out another, and then a fight breaks out. Fans always seem to get involved, and they tend to pick sides. Drama is stupid -knock it off.
This is all because Senses Fail got offended by something in Attila's new song, "Proving Grounds." If you don't know what I'm talking about, I explained it all here. Now, I hadn't gotten around to listening to "Proving Grounds" yet, so upon hearing this, I decided to give it a listen. The whole conversation sparked some thoughts, but I couldn't actually say if Senses Fail was rightfully mad or not. After listening to it, I decided that wasn't the case. For one, one of the only lyrics I could actually understand at first was the one that was causing all the drama. "Who's the faggot now?" Let me begin by saying I don't like the word faggot either. Now had he said "You're a fucking faggot." or something along those lines, I'd be pissed off too. He didn't though. He was calling out his haters, which admittedly, isn't exactly a good thing either. I'm not a huge fan of ATTILA's music, though I do listen to them from time to time. It seems like a handful of their songs are made of some form of call out. You could just ignore the hate, or let it fuel your fire. He lets it fuel his fire, which I say, go for, even if I don't totally agree with it. The whole time I was reading the back and forth though between Fronz and Senses Fail, I couldn't help but ask one question. Did you NOT hear Callout? I mean seriously, nobody got pissed off when he said "Faggot" in that song? Most people bust out laughing because he was saying it to Westboro Baptist. So what's the difference? Because he didn't say a flat out name this time, so you didn't know exactly who it was geared toward? Have they just been biting their tongue for the past year? The whole thing just has me baffled. Now, Fronz didn't exactly respond appropriately to all of this either, don't get me wrong. Saying, "You're clearly an idiot or in a washed up band that nobody cares about." was just uncalled for and rude. There's no need to pull that card, especially when there are still plenty of Senses Fail fans out there. Hell, weren't they just on Warped tour together this year? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong there. Whatever happened to the rule that said "If you can't say anything nice, you shouldn't say anything at all?" Did everyone magically forget that after the age of five or something? I don't know. If you can't say anything nice, keep your mouth shut. Or at least respectfully state your thoughts! Don't basically go, "How many times can you insult someone in one song?" Because you're irritated, and then don't go telling someone they're washed up because you're also mad! Its just stupid. Stop the name calling and all that. To quote, Frozen, LET IT GO. Yes, I just went there. It was needed. This picture showed up in my Facebook news feed earlier today, and while I normally just like such pictures and move on, a comment caught my attention. The comment said, "This is why I don't listen to music often. I want my own perception, uneffected." Frankly, this baffled me, but it also got me thinking.
Just before I saw this, I had realized that I have been listening to less music lately. I work a lot, and while music is always playing, its generally the same twenty songs over and over again. Most of those are what most consider to be "mainstream" pop, hip hop, classic rock, ect. Rarely does it play a song I greatly connect with at work. Then when I come home, I tend to just veg out on YouTube, catching up on other people's lives and creativity until I go to bed. That doesn't mean I'm not still listening to music, because I am, but its not for hours a day like it used to be. I have been super busy recently, and actually with such a hectic schedule, has come a lot more stress, and some worries about the capablities I have for future goals. Such as moving out, getting Immortal Music to the levels I dream of it being, or Remedy X to the level they all aspire to be. I've found myself recoiling, rather than standing strong and doing what I want. A couple months ago, it would have been the exact opposite, there was no backing down. There was no giving up because "its easier", there was just me being stubborn and pushing on, even when most people would be giving up. So, now I'm wondering -is there a connection? I've always agreed with everyone who's ever said that music gives people strength. I've said time and time again that it is everything, so seeing this comment actually totally baffled me. A brief conversation sparked up, and it appears as though the girl thought I was angry at her for not agreeing with the power of music. I wasn't, I was just geniunely confused. She went on to say that she didn't like the control music had over her. This was something I had never heard, nor had I thought about it. She had felt the control of music and somehow...didn't like it? It just has me confused, considering here I am wondering if I need the power of music to actually keep my hopes up high (and my head down low) and at the same time there's someone saying they'd rather not be influenced by music. The conversation didn't go much further than that, but my thoughts are now going a mile a minute. I had never given it a thought that someone might not like the control music has. Now that I am thinking of it, I could see how some might even see it as mind control. Given, to me, that sounds like some sort of conspiracy theory, and that's not the case here. It does sort of make sense on some level, though. The girl I was talking to said she wants her own perception, and to have one that's unaffected. My first thought wasn't even "How could you not listen to music?" My first thought was actually, "Your perception is always affected.." Your preception is influenced by a lot of things, music just happens to be one of those things. There's the opinions of others, that you may have heard growing up, on television, or the internet. Other people's preceptions are everywhere, and you may not realize it but they do sometimes effect your own. You form your own opinions on things by considering facts, and other opinions others have presented to you. Yes, music does change the way you precieve the world, but its only a small factor in your perception of things devoloping. How I've always seen it, lyrics are a window to a song writer's soul. There's been so many musicians that have said they only wrote a song because they couldn't get out what was bothering them any other way. They use it as a form of expression, and pass it on to the world. Others then connect with it, or they don't. Music connects the world, you just have to be open to it. Being closed off to it, in my mind, is like being closed off to the world. Obviously, that's not the case for everyone, but that's my first thought. Its a bit extreme, I know that, but that's sort of how I see it. Another obvious thing, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. With that though, everyone is allowed to be baffled by such opinions. There is nothing wrong with respectfully questioning someone. Because, hey, that's how you learn. That's how you can modify your perception on things. You have to be open minded, and I admit, that probably sounds very contradictory, since I cannot seem to wrap my head around someone not loving the power music has. I'm trying to though. I don't actually know what the point of writing this was, I had a point when I started, but it seems to have been lost along the way. I think maybe it was to get others thinking, or many it was just to get my own thoughts sorted out. I'm not sure. Everyone has their own opinions, so what's yours? What do you think about the power of music? Let me know. Also, I really do think I need to make it a point to listen to as much music as possible. I'm noticing it keeps me strong. Without it, I have a feeling I'm going to end up devoloping anxiety, or am just going to end up stress quitting everything that I'm passionate about. Without music basically talking me through things, I could easily see myself eventually just talking myself out of all the stressful things, rather than talking myself through it. That's not good. If you let yourself talk yourself out of everything, you will find yourself stuck in a rut. Stop waiting for the minute had to pick you up, just go for it. I feel compelled to quote about five songs right now, but I won't. See? I think that's more proof I need music in my life at all times, I can't even give advice without quoting lyrics. Music is everything to me. If its not to you, well, then I'm afraid I just don't understand. If you'd like to respectfully explain, then please do, but if you can't do that, then just carry on. We can agree to disagree sometimes. Today is the official start of the 2014 Immortal Music awards. An unofficial start happened the other day, and you are still highly encouraged to answer those questions as well.
Details on how the questions are going to be asked can be found here. Due to lack of response though from the first three questions, you can answer any questions I have asked thus far. If I get enough answers on something, I will more than likely tell you and ask about the other questions I still need responses for. The current question is: Who is your favorite band of 2014? All this means is name a band that you really have been enjoying this year. That does not mean it has to be some new band, it just happens to be one you really have enjoyed this year. Example: For me, that would be All Time Low and 5 Seconds Of Summer. Before that, I asked three other questions. I was going to save them for near the end of December, but decided to ask them as a pre-award thing. They are still important, though between two Facebook pages, here and Twitter, I've only gotten about five answers. None of them have been the same either, so its kind of hard to determine an actual winner. If no double answers are given, then everything gets listed. Which is fine, for this set of questions, but with the ones starting today, those questions work differently. You'll see. Just a reminder, the other questions that have been asked are still very important and are all below. Please feel encouraged to answer any of the questions in this post in the comments here on the website, by tweeting me (@ArielMay527) or on the Facebook page. Your participation is extremely necessary for the Immortal Music Awards to work out at all! Please, if you see this, take the five minutes it takes to answer the questions. - What album are you most excited about? (Must be one that is definitely coming out in 2015.) -Who would you like to see release more content in 2015? (Must be a band or solo artist.) -Who would you like to see tour more in 2015? (Must be bands or solo artists.) You have all week to answer these four questions before the next one is posted! Please answer them, because without answers, doing all of this is pointless. The Immortal Music Awards have existed since November 2011. Each year, they have grown into something slightly different. The first year, they were basically just thoughts from yours truly, with some insight from a few people on the Facebook page. Its grown a bit more, with not only the responses, but the catagories.
This year, hopefully will be be no different. 2014 has flown by, and seems to have been quite the year for music. Because of time flying faster than a jet plane, this time of year has crept up insanely fast. In previous years, catagories for the Immortal Music awards were suggested by fans of Immortal Music, and then presented daily for a month or so. Some days were skipped, and others were doubled up, due to scheduling or not having enough catagories. All the catagories were asked about on the Facebook page, and anyone could feel free to chime in with their thoughts. However, this year is going to work slightly different. Facebook has recently become very stubborn about showing anyone posts on the page. There's options around that, of course, and they are being considered but we haave to think of other options as well. What I am going to do is ask one to two questions once a week and collect results from Facebook, Twitter and the website. As it stands right now, I have twelve categories, and three questions to ask. I could just ask them all at once, but I kind of like it being a process. Its more of an event this way, if you ask me. There is currently ten and a half weeks left of 2014, and for the most part there will be just one question per week. In order to do this accordingly, where it's hopefully not a chaotic mess, I'm going to try to do this on a certain schedule. Official voting for the 2014 Immortal Music Awards begins on Monday, October 19, 2014. I will remind people of the question on and off all week, and close the voting for each question when the next one is posted. So, you'll have one full week to get your answers in via Facebook, Twitter, or blog comment here. I recommend Facebook or Twitter, as I don't always see the comments on the website. Something recently changed with the server where comments don't show up as easily for me anymore. You can feel free to comment on the posts about it on the Facebook page, or if you can't find it, and would like to chime in, message the page and tell me your answer. Be sure you tell me that you are trying to give input for the Immortal Music awards when you do it. Same goes for Twitter, feel free to just send it to me. You don't have to find the original Tweet about it. If I have already posted a new question though, I will probably answer back and tell you so. I might let your answer be added into the mix anyways, because the more answers, the better. There will be one question a week until probably the week of December 20, then there'll probably be two categories for you to vote on. I'm calling them questions, because I will be asking about them but they are the categories for the awards. The three bonus questions I have, I will just go ahead and ask now. They are as follows: -Who would you like to see tour more in 2015? -Who would you like to see release more content in 2015? -What album are you most excited about? (Must be one that is definitely coming out in 2015.) Please feel free to answer all of those here, Facebook or Twitter. As previously said, just be sure you tell me what you're answering. If you have a suggestion for a category, please feel free to let me know! I will tell you if I already have yours in mind, and any I don't, will be considered. I cannot guarentee that they all will be used, but they will be considered. Some might even be saved for next year, even if they are not this year! If I do add someone's suggested catagory to my list, which is written down for safe keeping. Obviously then extra weeks will have more than one question. On those weeks, by the way, both questions will be active. I'm making that sound more complicated than it really is. Please answer the questions above, and I really hope you are excited for the third annual Immortal Music awards, because I know I am. Punk Goes Pop is actually really quite exciting every year. Its interesting to see who decides to do what song, and how they go about it. Obviously some tracks from this series have stood out more than others. Such as Memphis May Fire's cover of Bruno Mars, "Grenade", Sleeping With Siren's cover of Ceelo Green's "Fuck You" or Woe, Is Me's cover of Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night." This year, Punk Goes Pop is back, and I won't get into the track listing here. If you want to read it, you can do so here as there is already an article about it.
I do have some thoughts on the track listing though. For starters, the fact that there is a Paramore cover on this one just threw me off for some reason. Generally, the things covered on these albums are considered to be "mainstream pop" or sometimes hip hop or something along those lines. Paramore has never been in the same catagory in my mind as say Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, or Lorde. They're more in the same catagory as say Mayday Parade, All Time Low, or Fall Out Boy. So, it surprised me a bit -but that's not a bad thing! Maybe this is the first step to Fearless Records finally making the "Punk Goes Punk" album the internet has talked about for quite some time. That'd be amazing! I'd love to hear A Day To Remember cover "Welcome To My Life" by Simple Plan, or something like that. Another thought I had about this track listing was frankly that its not that great. To each his own, of course. Someone out there might think this is a wonderful track list, and they cannot wait to hear it. I, however, am not all that thrilled with the songs that were selected to be covered. Usually, I am slightly intrigued by the majority of the track list, but this year, I am frankly only curious about tracks five and twelve. Upon seeing this track listing though, I instantly started wondering what else they could do. Unfortunately, I couldn't think of too many things that I knew would work well. Except I do think it'd be amazing to hear All Time Low cover "Good Girls", "Don't Stop" or "Social Casuality" by 5 Seconds OF Summer. Something tells me 5SOS would be estatic if that happened. I also think CatchingYourClouds would do a wonderful job with any Ed Sheeran song. I really have no reason before that, that's just a thought I have. Do you have an ideas for covers you'd like to hear? Let me know! Maybe you could come up with a full track listing for a new Punk Goes Pop album! The other day, 5 Seconds Of Summer released their music video for "Good Girls." I personally was very curious about this video because it is actually my favorite off of their album. Its catchy, fun and very sexual, so honestly, I expected the video to go along with that. Before I go on, if you haven't seen the video yet, I recommend watching it here before reading on. It does contain some spoilers, as this is a review. It sort of did go along with that, but not quite. The video takes place in what they called a "reform school" for bad girls. First, let me just say, that sounds like the opening to some porn video involving a school girl and a prinicipal. Am I the only one who thought that? I can't be alone in that. Second, why do so many videos not go along with the songs? This sort of does, I admit, but the song actually basically writes its own music video. Why not take your lyrics and apply that idea to a video? If you know the song, then you know what its about. if you don't know the song -why are you reading this review? I don't know, but just in case there is someone reading this just for the hell of it, I'll explain the song briefly. The song is about a girl, it is assumable that she is or was a classmate of one of the boys in 5SOS, who claims to be your stereotypical "good girl", but really isn't. She states that "Good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught", and really is constantly with her boyfriend, though nobody knows. Instead of depicting a high school student doing this, its grown women in what is basically a prison. It just did not make sense to me. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Seeing as I didn't have the budget to actually make a music video, nor did I have access to the band to star in it, I decided I just might have to write my own video idea for this song. Since I don't actually have access to the band to star in this video, nor do I have the budget to throw this together properly, you'll just have to read it, if you're actually interested. If you are interested, be on the look out for that, because it will be coming soon. Meanwhile, what do you think of the video? Do you like the direction they went with it, or not really? Would you have done it differently? Let me know! So, as some of you may have heard, For All Those Sleeping has announced that they are coming to an end. Notice that I didn't say they are breaking up. I saw a lot of comments questioning their logic behind saying they are ending the band but are not breaking up.
I actually think I understand the logic behind it, and just felt like expressing my thoughts on the matter. What is a break up? Most people, when they hear the word ' a break up' think of relationships coming to an end. Break ups don't just happen with signifigant others such as a boyfriend or girlfriend, they happen with friends and even families as well. Bands, generally tend to be a group of friends, sometimes relatives. They can 'break up' without breaking up with each other. Is this making sense? Its to my understanding, that maybe they put it the way they did for a couple possible reasons. One could be potentionally a new project involving all of them, or it could just be they're done with this but they're not done with each other. They're still friends and are going to stick together, just they aren't going to keep making music. A lot of things could be possible here, so if you are a fan of For All Those Sleeping, don't be too sad. I know this sucks, but who knows what might be on the horizon in the future. That's something to keep in mind for every situation, but I won't get too deep this time. I just wanted to talk about the thoughts I had behind them saying it was an end not a break up. There is a difference! Its a very slight difference, but it is still a difference! What are your thoughts on it all? Let me know! |
