Hopeless Records posted all the new songs that are featured on the deluxe edition of All Time Low's Don't Panic. That includes four acoustics and two new songs. Now I was going to write a proper review, and you still may get one, but for this very second, there's only a couple of things I could think of to say.
The first being simply, "This is a perfect album." The second was to make a comment on the fact that they were very smart to put some acoustics on the album. The music is incredible, and as if that wasn't enough, Alexander William Gaskarth's voice was somehow even more beautiful and angelic than I've ever heard him. His talent shows through even more on the acoustics, and I for one find that to be amazing. I, along with many other All Time Low fans out there, have been anxiously awaiting the release of this album, and am frankly, extremely glad that I pre-ordered the album. If you are interested in checking out the album, or pre-ordering, there is information here for you to do so. The album is officially out on September 30 and between the quality of the album, and the fact that there's only 15,000 physical copies of the album in existence something tells me finding the album once its out will be quite the feat. All in all, I have to say, All Time Low out did themselves once again. I can't wait to see what they have in store for all of us in the future. http://musicisimmortal.weebly.com/2/post/2013/09/dont-panic-its-longer-now-online.html http://musicisimmortal.weebly.com/2/post/2013/09/dont-panic-pre-orders-are-still-available.html

On this date, two years ago, I decided to make this site. I had slight variations of this through previous servers, even just in blog form for about six months before that. Nothing was quite working out, so I decided to look for something better.
Thus this website was born! It has changed so much since I began working on it, and I am so proud of the growth. Its still in the process of growing, and its still minor compared to so many things, but regardless, I'm proud. I apologize that the website has not been that active in the past months. Life does get in the way, but I surely hope to take this website so far. I'd like to take what I do now with the site, YouTube and Facebook, and turn it into so much more. I have big plans of turning all this into a magazine, as well as having a radio station, record label, concert venue, and clothing line. All of which will be connected. I have many ideas for all, and intend to try all my dreams, but like all great things, they're not always easy to achieve. Its well worth the hard work though, and the wait. I am hoping however to get the radio thing started soon. I'm hoping by January or something, I will have an online radio show, much like Full Frontal, hosted by Jack Barakat and Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low. Dreams are important to have, it gives you something to look forward to and work toward. I dream big, and its fun. Thank you so much to all who have supported me, and all who still have yet to come. It means so much to me, and I have much more planned. :) These are my thoughts on what happened in the new All Time Low video, and I wrote it as I watched it so please know it is full of spoilers. If you have not seen the video, please do not read ahead until you do. How it is written out is exactly how my brain processed things, minus a few fan thoughts such as "Damn, Alex looks adorable." and other related thoughts about the band. Hey, I may be a 'professional' but I still have thoughts like that just like everyone else. Anyways, please watch the video if you have not already, and then read on if you're interested in what I had to say about the video. This is not a review, exactly, and it is just random thoughts really. Jack Barakat, will you stop playing guitar in the theater?! That is about as rude as it gets. People are trying to watch a movie right now –this is not your concert. Put the guitar away now! Why is nobody saying anything to him about this? How did he even get a guitar in the theater without anyone saying anything to him about it? Sigh. So many questions already and I’m only eighteen seconds into the video. Is this going to be Backseat Serenade craziness all over again?
GUYS, how did you get from your seats , to back behind the building from the looks of it, to in front of the movie screen with all your band equipment in a matter of seconds? This is a set up. You better hope everyone there is an All Time Low fan, or else you may be boo’ed off the ‘stage’ and banned from whatever theater you’re in. Oh look there’s Vic, who’s clearly just going to sit down and enjoy a movie. Oh wait, Zack just said something to him. “Fuck this, let’s go play.” That is what it looks like Vic just thought as he dropped his popcorn. You really did say fuck this, didn’t you Vic? I saw you push Alex from the mic stand. Oh, shit just got real now. Or not, Alex didn’t even seem to care that you pushed him, Vic. Oh, they’re suddenly behind the building, and now they’re in the seats again. Zack, Jack, stop throwing popcorn at Rian. You’re grown men, behave. I love how they all seem to be rocking out at the most random times, and sometimes just alone. They’re having so much fun with ruining people’s movie. At least they’re ruining it with good music. Oh, Jack, Rian did not need a popcorn shower. Come on, now. Are we going to ignore the fact that Vic just grabbed Alex’s hand? I think they’re trying to start a new ship. Boys, don’t, just don’t. Oh now there’s alcohol! Of course Jack would be the one to bring the booze. I love how now Vic is the one hiding in the back but rocking out the whole time when they’re in the back of the building. I’m not surprised you all did a thumbs down for the movie, you were clearly so bored you decided to have a jam session! Well, I must say, as insane as it was, I do really like this video, and the song is amazing. Good job, ATL, I am very pleased with this video. |
