A picture showed up on Facebook that asked fans of a page to name off some numbers to those who run the page. Each number was actually a different music related question, and I did share this on the Facebook page. Some numbers were said, but it seemed like a lot of fun to just do them all in one place. That place is this blog post. So, without any further stalling, let's get into it. Some of them will have more than one answer, and some songs may be repeated. Just figured I would give that little disclaimer before I began answering the questions.
1. A song with a color in the title Purple -Pop Evil 2. A song you like with a number in the title 45 -Shinedown 3. A song that reminds you of summertime Kids In Love -Mayday Parade or We Say Summer by All Time Low 4. A song that reminds you of someone you would rather forget about A Shot Across The Bow -Mayday Parade 5. A song that has to be played LOUD. Just about anything by Papa Roach or Three Days Grace. Also, Asking Alexandria is loud no matter what you do. They demand to be heard. 6. A song that makes you want to dance I don't really dance, but Lost In Stereo by All Time Low works somewhat. Especially live. That's a really fun one live, everyone goes completely nuts and its fun. 7. A song to drive to Its a lot of fun to blast anything My Chemical Romance and "Pretty Handsome Awkward" by The Used while in the car with friends. 8. A song about drugs or alcohol Stella by All Time Low, or Bottoms Up -Nickelback. 9. A song that makes you happy There's so many....this one is really hard. Old Scars by All Time Low, I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace, Scars by Papa Roach, I'm Not A Vampire -Falling In Reverse, and a ton more. 10. A song that makes you sad Miserable At Best by Mayday Parade sometimes makes me sad, the ultimate one is used in a different question later on. 11. A song that you never get tired of Scars by Papa Roach, Let It Go from Frozen, almost everything by The Jonas Brothers, or All Time Low, ect. I don't really get tired of songs. 12. A song from your preteen years "Why Not?" by Hilary Duff -I was 10 when this came out. 13. One of your favorite 80's songs Pour Some Sugar on Me -Def Leppard 14. A song that you would love to play at your wedding. When You Look Me In The Eyes -Jonas Brothers. 15. A song that is a cover from another artist Since U Been Gone -A Day To Remember (Originally by Kelly Clarkson. This was the first cover I ever knowingly heard), Grenade -Memphis May Fire (Originally by Bruno Mars), Year 3000 -Jonas Brothers (Originally by Busted), For The First Time In Forever by Stellar Kart (From Frozen.) I could go on for a while. I tend to quite like covers. I could actually very easily just make a list of really good covers. Maybe I should do that. 16. One of your favorite classical songs. Don't kill me...but I don't know the names of classical songs. I know I've heard a ton of them, everyone has. I just can't for the life of me name many. There's Beethoven's 5th Symphony but that's one of the only names I can remember off the top of my head. 17. A song that would be sung as a duet on karaoke I don't sing, BUT singing anything from Frozen is a lot of fun when I'm with a friend so I'm gonna go with one of the songs from that. Probably "For The First Time In Forever" because it actually is a duet. 18. A song from the year you were born Heart Shaped Box -Nirvana (August 30, 1993. I was just barely three months old when this came out.) 19. A song that makes you think about life Legacy by Memphis May Fire, All I Want by A Day To Remember, Stay Awake -All Time Low, Life's What You Make It -Hannah Montana, Unity by Shinedown. 20. A song that has many meanings to you. I nearly drew a blank on this one. I am remembering one line though in "There's No Going Back" by Sick Puppies that sparked a conversation with my mother and I. "You can't regret what you don't decide." She was taking it like you chose not do something and you should just accept that. I took it more like if something just happens, and it was out of your hands, regretting it does no good. Because you didn't have anything to do with it, it just happened. So maybe that counts? 21. A favorite song with a person's name in the title. Amber Lynn -Mayday Parade (Not necessarily a favorite for me, but I do like it and it was the first song to come to mind with a name.) 22. A song that moves you forward. Legacy by Memphis May Fire. That is the most inspirational song I've ever heard. Just behind it is Face Everything And Rise by Papa Roach. 23. A song by a band you wish was still together. Hold On -Jonas Brothers. 24. A song by an artist who's no longer living. You Only Live Once -Suicide Silence (It counts! Mitch passed away in 2012, and he was their singer so he was very much part of it.) 25. A song that makes you want to fall in love. Not much really does...but I do have to say If You're Audrey Hepburn, I'm James Dean by Sleeping With Sirens is incredibly sweet. 26. A song that breaks your heart. Photograph by Nickelback. The first note is enough to make me burst into tears, I honestly cannot listen to it. The song had already made me think of my great grandma, who had Alzheimer's disease. The song speaks of looking back at old pictures and remembering, and it always made me sad because...she couldn't do that. Well, nature apparently decided to ruin that song for me because moments after I was told my great grandpa (her husband) had passed away, it came on the radio. I forever connect that moment to that song and honestly will burst into tears if I hear even the first second of it. 27. A song by an artist with a voice you absolutely love. Life Starts Now -Three Days Grace. I adore Adam Gontier's voice and that song is just beautiful. 28. A song that you remember from your childhood. Shape Of My Heart -Backstreet Boys. This was one of my favorites by them growing up. I was a big fan of them when I was little, to the point that I wanted to marry Nick Carter. I didn't even care that he was fourteen years older than me, I just liked him when I was like five. 29. A song that reminds you of yourself. Skeletons by Papa Roach. The day the F.E.A.R. album came out, I bought it and was so enthralled with it. Then this came on and my jaw about hit the floor because he once again described me and thoughts I had. Same thing happened with "Scars" and "Broken As Me." Papa Roach lyrics tend to speak to my soul, and I cannot explain it. Well, I think that covered it, and now I want to see what you guys have to say. You can answer select questions or all of them if you would like, but I genuinely want to know what you guys would say. Remember, like always, you can answer them here in the comments, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Be on the look out for the post about covers too! I probably will do that for real because I know of a ton of covers.
