Before I begin on this topic, I want to say something. First and for most, what I am about to say may anger some fans, and I'd sincerely appericate it if nobody yelled at me over this. I'd love to hear other people's take on things, but I do not want some fangirl yelling at me, "NO QUIT LYING ABOUT MY BOY! HE HAS NOT CHANGED!" I'm simply sharing a conversation I had last night, because I feel like someone out there may just agree with me. Second, I am not saying fame has changed the person I am about to talk about, I am just saying it appears that way.
Now onto what I wanted to talk about. We all know about Black Veil Brides, and how much their fame has risen in the past year. I believe I've made it perfectly clear on Music = Life that I am a BVB fan, but I'm more into them as people, not so much their music. Recently, I've noticed a change in their singer, Andy Biersack. He doesn't seem to talk the same on Twitter, or on their Facebook page, or in interviews. He's always been an asshole, but he was that asshole that you loved anyways. He would make his comments, but you could tell he wasn't trying to be rude, he was just playing. Now, I feel like things are different. I get it, fame can change you. Its a hectic lifestyle, you're either on the road or in the studio. BVB has blown up in the last year, and I feel like that's sort of given Andy a big head. Its hard not to get one, I suppose. When you have fans screaming your name practically everywhere you go, and have had some of your idols say you're talented. That is a big deal, but you should always keep in mind who you were before you got to where you are today. Always remind yourself, "I was once the fan screaming from the crowd, just hoping the singer would notice me." You always have to remember that you were in the fans shoes once, and just because your idols now know who you are, and you've travelted the world to see fans of your own, it doesn't make you better than anyone else. I feel like Andy got this whole new additude to him when he cut his hair that first time. Hair does not make the man, but that's when I noticed the change. I almost feel like he felt different, so he wanted to change everything. His stage presence is different even. I saw them last year at the first date of the Buried Alive tour with Avenged Sevenfold, Asking Alexandria, and Hollywood Undead. They were amazing, and I'm sure they're still amazing soundwise but what's with the new outfits? I saw pictures from the Download Festival that happened over the weekend, and couldn't make up my mind if I liked it or not. The fact that Andy had foot long feathers coming out of his arms just seemed too over the top and werid. I also couldn't help but wonder if he was going to "try to fly" again. Again, I am not saying he is this way, I am simply saying that's what it looks like to me. I've lost a lot of interest and respect for Andy. From a fan point of view, its dissapointing. From a journalist point of view, all I can say is shit happens. I actually said I could very easily see him becoming the next Gene Simmons. The one that gets with a woman, and doesn't marry her for about thirty years. The one who sleeps with thousands of women and brags about it, and doesn't really care about his fans, just wants the money. Its awful to say, but its how I feel. Maybe some of you agree, maybe some of you don't. That's fine, and I don't know Andy, so I can't judge for sure, that's just the way it appears to me. Leave a comment here or

I feel the same way, but I still love Andy, just a little sad fame is getting to him...
