On Februrary 24, 2015 Falling In Reverse officially released their third studio album, Just Like You. On the same day, they released the music video for the title track. It appears as though they are on a talent show called The Choice. Ronnie meets a douche bag in the dressing room and their conversation are the beginning lyrics. The two look at the camera then and smile with the cheesiest grins on their faces. Now all of Falling In Reverse are on stage, performing the song in bow ties and slightly tacky suits for the judges. Several of which are played by Ronnie himself -even "Jessie J." A lot of the others were 'singing' the lyrics for the lyrics, or doing some other random talent. Like fire breathing, dancing, stilt walking, ect. Where did the random huge microphone come from? Why is there a random Danny Worsnop on the stage now? Did he just show up on the set and go, "Hey, I wanna be in the video with a cowboy hat on?" This video might be incredibly random, but that's a lot of the charm! This is one of the best videos Falling In Reverse has ever released. Remember that you can now get Falling In Reverse's album Just Like You! You won't be disappointed. You can get it in many places, but they have out loud stated you can get it on iTunes and in Hot Topic stores everywhere. Just in case anyone is curious to hear what we had to say about it we did do a review of the album, which you can read here.

Illuminate Me's singer, Christopher Murray has started a wonderful petition on Change.org asking for Facebook to stop charging people to actually show fans the posts.
Some posts do get shown without payment, but not a ton ever get to see things because Facebook would rather unfairly charge for that. You don't have to pay, but it 'helps' for a very short amount of time, and still not even half of your followers will be able to see your posts unless you are willing to pay out the nose. Micheal has claimed to have paid Facebook over $3000 just in an attempt to show fans the posts, and has said, "Enough is enough, let's fight back. Facebook, it is not your place to put a price on our fan's eyes and ears." Nearly 24,000 people have already signed this petition and the goal is 50,000. Who knows? They may get somewhere and change the way things work for not only bands, but for everyone. If you would like to sign this petition, you can do so on Change.org. Be sure to do so and share it around, because this really could possibly help many out including all of your favorite bands, journalists, authors -and any other Facebook page you may know of. Shinedown has been in the studio for about four weeks now and finally have a small amount of details for the upcoming album. There's still no title or exact release date, but Brent Smith, the band's front man has said it should be late July or early August.
He also went on to say that this album will be a "devastating album" that is "beautifully brutual" and has a survival feel to it. What exactly this means, nobody but Shinedown knows! We will find out in due time though because a brand new single should be out in late April. All Time Low will be embarking on a tour very shortly, and a tweet from their singer, Alex Gaskarth, is causing quite a stir in the 'Hustler Club.' Alex Gaskarth has fully broken down his wall, and has fallen madly in love with his long term girlfriend, Lisa. Enough so that he asked this girl to marry him. Guess she's been running through his dreams, and driving him crazy. Or so it seems. Congratulations to these two!
The All Time Low community is buzzing with this news, and most could not be happier for them. Covers are awesome things, right? The other night at a show, Taylor Swift decided to cover Fall Out Boy's "Sugar We're Going Down" at one of her concerts. This was slightly unexpected, but unexpected things can be rather cool. Check it out. Did you know a long time ago You Me At Six also covered this song? What do you think? Respectfully leave your thoughts here or over on Facebook.
Also, who do you think should cover a Fall Out Boy song and what song should they cover? All Time Low has posted a teaser video for their upcoming album! Its an interesting video...it has a sort of educational documentary feel to it, while pointing out all types of people. It shows super stars, historical figures, and of course All Time Low. And a random cheetah, followed by the logo All Time Low is using for Future Hearts. Its quite random, but feel free to watch it for yourself. All Time Low is known for being random and off the wall, but this is even strange for them. All Time Low is known for antics involving animal costumes, fucking burritos, and general insanity, so a video referencing history that does not directly involve them is very different. They never cease to surprise. Also, just as a bonus, just for fun. Watch Alex Gaskarth and Josh Franceschi quiz each other on trivia regarding their own bands, via Rock Sound. Bullet For My Valentine is currently without a bassist. It was announced that Jason "Jay" James has departed from the band. The band posted about this via Facebook, and Jason has not currently said anything about it. The band is going to announce his replacement on their own time, but for now wish to focus on recording for their new record. Below is a screenshot of the band's announcement. Their announcement cannot wait for very long though, as the band will be setting out on tour this summer with Slipknot. They will be all over the US in support of Slipknot. Joining them will be Lamb Of God and Motionless In White. Tickets are on sale now! The full list of tour dates can be found here, through Slipknot's website.
On Febuary 24, Of Mice And Men will be releasing the deluxe edition of their previous release, Restoring Forces. On it will be all the eleven tracks that were already on the album, along with four bonus tracks. "Broken Generation", "Never Giving Up", "Something To Hide" and an acoustic version of "Feels Like Forever." Today, Rise Records uploaded the video for "Broken Generation." Both the song and the video are very powerful, and thought provoking, but in their own ways. The song is pointing out those who feel alone, and is asking if people even notice. It also tries to get them to open their eyes and pay attention, because who knows -you could save a life just by listening. The video appears to be pointing out that we are all a bit trapped in our technology. There's cords connected to the back of everyone's neck, and two people end up finding each other by getting fed up and seeing where their cords lead. We won't ruin the video, its best if you watch it for yourself to find out more. Its ironic though, to make a video about how technology is sort of suffocating our society. Considering you need technology of some sort to view it, and needed plenty just to make it. None the less, such a video does make sense, just is somewhat ironic. What do you think of the video? Watch it below and let us know what you think. |
