What a wonderful way to start a Wednesday morning than with a brand new song from Saint Asonia? As they quickly approach the release of their debut album that comes out this Friday (July 31), they celebrate by slowly giving the world sneak peaks to the album. This started with the lead single, "Better Place", was followed by "Blow Me Wide Open", "Let Me Live My Life". and "Fairy Tale." Now there is "Trying to Catch Up With The World." So far, fans have speculated that the Saint Asonia album would be full of empowering, sort of 'fuck you' songs, but this track definitely breaks that mold. This is one of the acoustics that frontman, Adam Gontier spoke about once in an interview. It still is a rather hard hitting track, speaking for those who remain silent as they put up with the world. It speaks of darker moments, and trying to get out of them. "Weak links never practice what they preach. They cowar down below. That's what you call defeat. And in their darkest hour, its hard to breathe. We try to catch up with the world, but we're so far out of reach." "I wish I hadn't warned you of this broken path. With each step take, you know there's no turning back." Once you're in someone's life, especially one who feels rather damaged, you can't just back out. Not without leaving a massive scar, at least. This is a rather interesting track, one that should get some people thinking for sure. You can hear this, and all the other songs on the album officially on July 31. Like what you've heard so far? Want the album? You can still pre-order it now and can hear parts of the album live on their upcoming tours. Their first ever tour will begin in mid August, and in October they will be appearing on tour with Seether!
In the mist of that tour, both bands will take part in several festivals as well. Both bands will appear at the Louder Than Life festival on October 3, Seether will be at the Aftershock festival on October 24, and Saint Asonia will be at the Rock Allegiance festival on October 10. Other tour dates can be found on Saint Asonia's website.

Saint Asonia is only a matter of days away from the release of their debut album and today, they released a fourth track off the album! This is yet another that they played at the Rock On The Range Festival, "Fairy Tale." Fans highly anticipated hearing the studio version after the performance concluded and now the wait is over! Singer, Adam Gontier once said in an interview that this album features some of the heaviest songs he personally has never done, and Fairy Tale does appear to be one of those. Its not a 'metal' album, for those questioning the meaning of 'heavy' here. Its a somewhat heavy rock album that's about to come out, and this song is a great example of said sound. Or at least, that's our guess thus far. We'll find out in a few days when the album is released. This song about someone who's been playing the victim when really they were to blame having to finally face reality. "You want a chance to rewind, maybe change your one track mind. But you're too afraid of changing so you're locking yourself up in a safe place." Clearly, Adam doesn't pull any punches. He says what he means. Saint Asonia doesn't disappoint, clearly. This is perfectly obvious and yet their album doesn't even come out for four more days. We wonder though -how are they live in person? The band will be embarking on their first ever tour starting in August, and just announced a tour this October with Seether. In the mist of those tours are several festivals, including the Louder Than Life festivals and the Rock Allegiance festival. Big things are coming! Be sure to check out all the tour dates at the links above, and check out "Fairy Tale" below. Bring Me The Horizon has been hinting at a new album for a short while. First they released the overly awesome, "Happy Song", then "Throne" just today. To go along with the brand new song (which we will talk about over on the creator's blog, if you are interested), they released album information! The album will be called "That's The Spirit", and will be out September 11. The album artwork is rather simple, and "That's the spirit" cannot be read without hearing Oli Sykes semi-sarcastically singing the words just as he does at the end of "Happy song." Its kind of great. The titles of several songs are attention grabbing, and keeping "Happy song" in mind, it has us quite curious. "Oh no", "True Friends", "Blasphemy" and "Doomed" definitely draw some attention. Check out the track listing below and let us know what you think of it. Track list: 1. “Doomed” 2. “Happy Song” 3. “Throne” 4. “True Friends” 5. “Follow You” 6. “What You Need” 7. “Avalanche” 8. “Run” 9. “Drown” 10. “Blasphemy” 11. “Oh No” Also don't forget to check out the brand new video and song, "Throne." We will be talking about it soon over on the blog! You can catch BMTH on tour with Issues starting in early October, and in the middle of said tour is the Rock Allegiance festival, which is a can't miss event for many. Mayday Parade has announced what could possibly be the most pop punk tour ever. The tour dates and locations have not been announced just yet, but it has been said that it will be going from mid-October to late November.
Now you may be wondering -who's part of this extremely pop punk tour? Well, it is headlined by Mayday Parade, and supported by This Wild Life, Real Friends and As It Is. Obviously it can get more pop punk than that, but that is still a pretty great lineup. They also said they will try to cover most of North America, and surely more information will be coming soon. Meanwhile, As It Is and This Wild Life are working on completing the 2015 Vans Warped tour. Today they are in Pennsylvania! Check out all the remaining dates below. This one is called "Let Me Live My Life" and this one has a lyric video to go with it. Check it out below! "Let me live my life. I can go get my knife, or I can pull out the one you stuck in my back."
This song is amazing, and that has been known since their first show ever which was the Rock On The Range Festival earlier this year! The album comes out on July 31, so fans have just two more weeks left before the rest of the album can be enjoyed. Pre-orders are happening now! You can pre-order the album on its own, the album with a t-shirt and poster with the names of everyone who pre-ordered on it, or a very limited edition Saint Asonia themed guitar to come with the album! That one is (understandably so) really expensive. It is $500, but that's due to the extremely nice guitar you will get. For more information on all the pre-orders, please click here! Saint Asonia has also just announced their first ever tour, which begins on August 14, and ends on August 30. Tour dates can be found on their website! Then in October they have two festivals, which are the Louder Than Life Festival and the Rock Allegiance festival. The Maine is doing one of the coolest tours ever. Starting on August 30, and ending October 2 is a totally free tour! Seriously -tickets are FREE for every date of this tour. They're calling it the Free For All Tour, and they're doing it as a way to give back. They're aware that not everyone can afford concert tickets and would love to, so now is some people's chance to go! The only money involved here is gas money. Because that is sadly, a thing, they are asking if those who can afford to donate, would chip in for the gas to go to each show. Its not a must, but if someone is feeling generous and able, it would be appreciated.
It has not been confirmed just yet how the tickets are available. If its online, or if you just show up at your desired date and hope the venue isn't over capacity. Along with this tour, was the announcement for the American Candy tour, which is actually happening in between dates of the Free For All Tour. This is a new concept for sure, its basically one big tour, just half the dates are free! On their American Candy tour, they will be performing their entire new album in its entirety and on the Free For All Tour -who knows! All the tour dates are below and marked to determine which are free, and which are not.
