Oh March 23, Three Days Grace released a brand new lyric video for "Human Race", which will be featured on the album Human. Human comes out on March 31, and this is the third track to be released from the album to date. The lyric video shows a body that has gears running inside of it. The video, along with the lyrics makes it seem as though he feels like a robot rather than a human. The intro song also sounds a bit like a suicide note, and that feel does carry on through out the song. "So far behind, no finish line. It could happen to you, it could happen to me." We're not clear as to if you are implying failure could apply to anyone, or if you actually meant something good there. We're hoping you weren't telling people they're going to fail, because while that could be true, you want to empower people, not bring them down. We're not sure how to feel about the new Three Days Grace song. Please feel free to listen to the song below and let us know what you think. As previously mentioned, Three Days Grace's fifth studio album, Human will be out on March 31. Out of slightly morbid curiosity, Immortal Music will be reviewing it so stay tuned for that.

All Time Low has released a third 'single' from their upcoming album Future Hearts. Its called Runaways, and its kind of all about escaping, and running off together. "Let's run away -they will have to find another heart to break."
What happened to "doing it for Baltimore?" Guess those days are long gone. Its a good song, but honestly, Kids In The Dark and Something's Gotta Give are both better. (In Immortal Music's opinion of course.) Its sweet to express that you're going to run off with someone who appears to have had their heart broken, but there's something about it that isn't striking us right now. That may change with a few more listens. This opinion was based off of the first impression. Feel free to listen to it now through MTV, where the song was debuted and be sure to pre-order Future Hearts now on iTunes or through All Time Low's official website. The album comes out April 7 through Hopeless Records and so far is shaping up to be one hell of a great follow up to the rest of the band's wonderful discography. This May, the famed AP Tour will be going across the globe for the second time! The first time, the lineup featured The Used, Silverstein and Crossfaith.
This time though the line up will be Set It Off, and Swanky Dank will be headlining. Supporting acts and tour dates will be coming soon. Warning: This is not just an announcement for this brand new video from All Time Low. Watch the video before going on or else you will have most of the video spoiled for you! You do not want to have that happen, not with this one. Watch it before continuing on.
On March 9, 2015, All Time Low released a brand new song, "Kids In The Dark", and it actually got us wondering a bit if Alex is alright. With this song, he appears to be speaking not only for thousands of people who feel alone, and possibly broken -but for himself as well. On March 10, they released the music video for this new song, and its a powerful video that reminds you just how much of a release a concert can be. We see a girl, who looks a lot like a YouTuber, Alexis G Zall, hiding and looking distressed as her parents argue. A letter shows up through her mail slot, much like the Hogwarts letters in Harry Potter, and she walks out. She meets a woman with blue hair and she takes her to a rave, that appears to be at an All Time Low concert. If you have someone in your life that doesn't quite understand how music can be an escape, show them this video. It may just drive the message home for them, if you tell them to pay attention to the video and listen to the lyrics. This is a rarity, but the video goes along with the song perfectly. This is one of the best videos All Time Low has ever released, and the song really is awesome as well. Almost everyone could relate to it, because we've all felt like we've been alone and left in the dark. "They left us alone, the kids in the dark, to burn out forever or light up a spark. We come together, state of the art. We’ll never surrender the kids in the dark. So let the world sing!" It tells the story of feeling alone, and finally finding some relief. It talks of bringing people together, and its just beautiful. Even if you are not an All Time Low fan, give this song (and the music video) a chance. They may impress you. "Kids In The Dark" is available now on iTunes, and it will be on All Time Low's brand new album, Future Hearts. The album comes out April 7 -get excited for it. Never surrender -and let the world sing. All Time Low has released the second single from their upcoming album, Future Hearts. This one is called "Kids In The Dark" and its an interesting track.
The only working link we could find was through Alternative Press, but you can also buy the song on iTunes now. Be sure to listen to it now by clicking here before reading on. Its an interesting track, that makes you stop and think. If the rest of the tracks are like this one and "Something's Gotta Give", this is going to be an incredible, thought provoking album. Future Hearts comes out on April 7! Papa Roach's Jacoby Shaddix just recently spoke with TeamRock.com, and gave very high praise to a few bands.
He says he expects in the next five years that the rock genre will become "the biggest thing on the planet" by 2020. As examples of why, he has named Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice And Men, We Came As Romans as Escape The Fate. Jacoby has recently acknowledged BMTH, and said he was a fan, so this did not fully come as a surprise. He was quoted saying, "I feel it coming back pretty strong. There’s the contingent of bands that have stuck around like Korn, Deftones, Incubus – then there’s this new wave of younger, heavier bands coming up. Of Mice & Men, Bring Me The Horizon, We Came As Romans, Falling In Reverse, Escape The Fate have this fresh, new rock sound. But they were listening to Papa Roach, Korn and Deftones when they were kids. So there’s kindred spirits. They’re like, ‘Yo, dude, you guys inspired us,’ and we’re looking at these bands, going, ‘You guys are inspiring us now." As a final statement, Jacoby added, "Everything’s cyclical and we’ve survived a few of the phases. I definitely feel there’s a resurgence in rock. Give it another five years and it’s going to be the biggest thing on the planet again. It’s cool – it’s exciting.” That is one of the ultimate compliments -to have someone who inspired you say you returned the favor for them. So, what do you think? Do you think Jacoby is onto something here or not? Let us know! We think he's definitely onto something. The second annual Alternative Press Awards will be happening this June in Cleveland, OH. Art Of Dying has been talking up their brand new album a lot lately, and in a tour announcement video, they did release a clip of a brand new single. From the very short clip, it was safe to assume that the single was called "Rise Up", and the assumption proved to be true today.
The band has released the new song on the Better Noise (The record label they recently signed with) website and it is a fabulous track. Be sure to check out Rise Up and remember that Art of Dying will be on tour this May in support of Apocalyptica. You can download the song for free and for a limited time now by joining their newsletter. By doing that, not only will you get the rack, but you will also stay up to date with the band and all they do. 5/17 – Norfolk, VA @ The NorVa 5/19 – Raleigh, NC @ Lincoln Center 5/20 – Atlanta, GA @ The Masquerade 5/23 – Lubbock, TX @ Jake’s Backroom 5/24 – Albuquerque, NM @ Sunshine Theater 5/25 – Tempe, AZ @ Marquee Theatre 5/27 – Reno, NV @ Knitting Factory Concert House 5/28 – Garden City, ID @ Revolution Center 5/29 – Seattle, WA @ Showbox SODO 5/30 – Vancouver, BC @ Commodore Ballroom 6/1 – Edmonton, AB @ Union Hall 6/2 – Calgary, AB @ MacEwan Hall Ballroom 6/3 – Saskatoon, SK @ O’Brian’s Event Centre 6/4 – Winnipeg, MB @ The Garrick Centre 6/6 – Milwaukee, WI @ The Rave 6/7 – Grand Rapids, MI @ The Intersection 6/8 – London, ON @ London Music Hall 6/9 – Quebec City, QC @ Imperial 6/10 – Montreal, QC @ Metropolis Kurt Cobain is alive! What wonderful news, right? This is INSANE! No seriously, this is insane...like scary insane. A man from Seattle is claiming that he is Kurt Cobain and is only 27 years old. The Kurt Cobain would have been just turned 48 years old on February 20 of this year, and the way this man is explaining himself is valid reason for him to have his brain checked out. When confronted with the fact that Kurt Cobain killed himself in 1994, this man said this, "It [suicide] was a way to get the media attention and all the stupid fans off my back so I could live in peace. But now I miss all the awesome attention and I want my career back. I want to make money. I want to rock." In regards to his age, his reasoning for it sounds very similar to the plot for Disney's Tangled. "I’m 27. I never aged. I found a special plant in Alaska that I smoke daily that prevents physical aging. I’m ready to rock.” (Do people not remember Mother Gothal, and the glowing flower she had to use every day to keep herself young? Cartoon logo is fine -for cartoons. Not for real life.) This man claims that there will be a 'new Nirvana album out in 2016, and is recording it with his mother, neighbor and has his dog barking in it. Um....if this man actually believes all this stuff, he needs some serious mental help. Hopefully this is simply just a man with a wild imagination, who wanted some public attention. Either way, its too crazy to not talk about. Below are pictures of his man...who's real name is not yet known. Art Of Dying has announced their first tour since completing the recording for their brand new album! The tour will begin May 15 an go through June 10 and they will be in support of Apocalyptica! Art Of Dying's frontman, Jonny Hetherington made this video about it and all the tour dates are near the end of the video. Along with the tour dates, is a clip of a brand new song!
Further information on the brand new album from Art Of Dying will be coming soon. |
