Word of a tour that was headlined by Blink 182, and supported by All Time Low, A Day To Remember and All American Rejects sparked up the other day.
Of course, it got everyone's attention. Its too badass to ignore!
Today it was confirmed that the four bands will be going on tour together this summer!
The tour starts July 22 and goes through October 1, though that entire lineup will not be at all the dates! All American Rejects will be performing from the start of the tour until August 10, and then All Time Low join and finish out the tour.
For a full list of dates please visit Blink 182's website.
There's been a rumor about Five Finger Death Punch being sued by their record label, Prospect Park for failing to produce enough albums in a certain time.
We questioned the legitimacy of this rumor, but it has since proven to be very true. Five Finger Death Punch has spoken up about the accusations, and have given full details about not only what the label wants, but what they want and what's been going on with singer Ivan Moody.
They said that they are saddened, yet not surprised by the legal action the label is taking on them. Read their statement below.
"Desperate people do desperate things.
We are saddened, but not surprised by the recent lawsuit filed by Prospect Park, LLC against the members of Five Finger Death Punch. It is the latest in a long line of exploitative and abusive bullying tactics used by our former manager and current label CEO Jeff Kwatinetz to extract money from and wield power against the band.
Jeff Kwatinetz is well-known as a former music industry powerhouse whose erratic behavior and affiliated corporate bankruptcies have caused most of his companies’ clients, including Backstreet Boys, Korn, Smashing Pumpkins, Janes Addiction and Azalea Banks to flee in droves. In fact, we also fired Prospect Park management four years ago in an effort to escape an arrangement that more resembled indentured servitude. Five Finger Death Punch’s recordings are now one of Prospect Park’s last remaining and most valuable assets still under contract.
Five Finger Death Punch is prepared to record and deliver the final album this year under its recording agreement, but instead of allowing us to record, Prospect Park has chosen to sue us, hold us for ransom and squeeze extra money out of its contract rights by attempting to sell an interest in future recordings. What’s worse is that Prospect Park very deliberately filed their meritless lawsuit the same week we are trying put our Fall co-headlining arena tour on sale.
In its lawsuit, Prospect Park states that Five Finger Death Punch has plateaued and that its sound is stale, yet on multiple occasions and in writing Mr. Kwatinetz referred to the most recent album, Got Your Six, as the band’s “best album yet”. Five Finger Death Punch is the best selling Active Rock band of the last 24 months and one of the top selling Active Rock bands of this decade. Every single first week album sales figure has been higher than the last. In fact, there is not one shred of evidence to suggest that Five Finger Death Punch’s career remains on any trajectory other than an upward one. Any statement or suggestion that Five Finger Death Punch is suffering from some kind of slump is untrue.
Prospect Park does not want us to record our next album with Kevin Churko, who at this point is part of our family and who has produced the last five of our six albums. As for the creative process, Mr. Kwatinetz has never been to the studio during the making of any of our albums, he has never met Mr. Churko and Prospect Park repeatedly failed to pay Mr. Churko on time.
As for our singer, Ivan Moody, his issues are no secret and were recently and successfully addressed with the love and support of his family and bandmates in a rehabilitation facility. Never once did Prospect Park Management or Recordings support any efforts to get him sober, preferring the band continue making albums and touring.
We are confident that the evidence will expose the allegations in Prospect Park’s complaint as completely meritless and that the band will recover substantial damages and be released from any further obligations to Prospect Park based on the cross-complaint that we intend to file."
Its a shame really, but hopefully soon they will be able to get away from this label and move on to bigger and better things. We wish them the best of luck, and will support them the entire way.
A headline was brought to our attention that seems slightly fishy. We're not positive this is true, for a few different reasons, so please take the following information with that in mind.
Supposedly, Five Finger Death Punch is being sued by their record label, Prospect Park for failing to release four albums and a 'Greatest Hits Album." The contract was signed in December 2012, and Five Finger Death Punch released their third album under this label, Got Your Six in September 2015.
According to this lawsuit, which was supposedly filed on April 21 of this year, Five Finger Death Punch is prohibited to record anything until June 2016, and claims they refused to send in two masters for a Greatest Hits album.
The lawsuit states, "Regrettably, with the encouragement and assistance of their entertainment lawyer and business manager, the members of FFDP have unequivocally repudiated their contractual obligations to permit Prospect Park to determine the recording elements of a new record and a greatest hits record. In doing so, the members of FFDP are shamelessly attempting to cash in before the anticipated downfall of their addicted bandmate. By this action, Prospect Park seeks to hold FFDP true to its obligations under its written recording contract, thereby allowing Prospect Park to obtain the benefit of the bargain it struck in that agreement, and at the same time, to prevent the band from disregarding the health and safety of a bandmate and destroying itself."
There's a few things that make this seem possible, but there's also a few things that just don't quite add up. The first being why prohibit them from recording when they had already talked about going into the studio anyway? That takes away from what you want. You want an album recorded, don't slap a lawsuit on them and tell them not to record.
At the same time, considering 5FDP released a two part album in 2013 (Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell), and have stayed fairly consistent ever since, it does lead one to believe that this is possibly true.
In their supposed statement, they claim they "are shamelessly attempting to cash in before the anticipated downfall of their addicted bandmate." Which right there just completely broke their privacy, as Ivan Moody was just recently hospitalized for undisclosed reasons. By saying that, they quite possibly just outed him in a time he would rather stay quiet.
Five Finger Death Punch has not spoken up about this, but surely if this is a truth to real life event, something will crop up soon. Facts are there to back it up, but some of the sources we found who are talking about this lawsuit make us wonder if this is true or a really well done hoax.
If we hear any updates, we will let you know. Meanwhile, be sure to be on the look out because Five Finger Death Punch will be hopefully coming to a city near you very soon. This week kicks off the festival season, and later on they will be going out on tour with Shinedown and Papa Roach. For further information, head on over to their official website.

Sixx:A.M have announced a very cool campaign to go along with their new song, "Rise" and the meaning the song has.
The song has been blowing up rock charts and is currently at #7 on the Rock Charts. Its all about standing up for your rights, and going against the status quo. The song says it best by saying, "Don't let the status quo define you." You're more than that.
Watch this video and let it empower you to think outside the box and do what you think is right for yourself, and those around you.
"Rise" will be featured on Volume 1 of Prayers of The Damned, which comes out April 29!

We are now just 15 days away from the fourth annual Fort Rock Festival!
We have known since December what the lineup was, and now we know who's playing what time! As press, this makes my life a whole lot easier. This way I can schedule interviews accordingly and not miss too many sets. Assuming all goes to plan, of course.
In case anyone cannot read that, it says that the festival opens up at 12:20pm with the 93x Battle of The Bands Winner. We don't know who this is just yet, but there's a lot of great local bands around here so we're very curious to see who wins.
The Glorious Sons -12:55pm
Saint Asonia -2:55pm
Lamb of God -5:05pm
A Day To Remember -7:45pm
Five Finger Death Punch -8:45pm
Rob Zombie -9:55pm
Red Sun Rising -12:50pm
Asking Alexandria -2:10pm
Pop Evil -2:50pm
Bullet For My Valentine -3:35pm
3 Doors Down- 6:00pm
Bring Me The Horizon -6:55pm
I only currently have one interview set up, but several requests have been sent out. An interview with Red Sun Rising will be happening on day two, for sure! We actually had that set up before the pass was even confirmed.
There's also ten pending requests out there right now. Those requests are for Shinedown, Bring Me The Horizon, Pennywise, Bullet For My Valentine, Asking Alexandria, Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, A Day To Remember, Saint Asonia, and Ghost. I also requested an interview with Disturbed, who politely declined for this time around.
I may also request interviews with Sixx:A.M, Trivium, 3 Doors Down, Lamb Of God and Megadeth in the next few days as well!
If any confirm, I will let you know via Facebook! If you have questions for anyone previously mentioned, please send them through a message via Facebook or comment on this post!

All Time Low released the most beautiful music video for their song "Missing You." The song itself is absolutely wonderful, but this just made it ten times better.
How absolutely humbling for All Time Low to hear the stories of their fans, and be able to personally connect with them. Then turn around and make even more art from it! Its just all around wonderful.
Even if you're not an All Time Low fan, watch this video. Its real, its incredible and its very important to see how much of an impact a band can have on fans.
Saint Asonia have announced a very fun way to include fans on their social media! Each week, they're going to spotlight a fan and their Saint Asonia themed artwork!
The art can come in any form the fan chooses. Whether that's a drawing, painting, poem, song, sketch, or even just a heartwarming message.
The fun starts this Friday over on the band's Instagram! It begins with Lina White. You can follow her on Instagram @Art_LW and Saint Asonia @SaintAsoniaFans.
