'Mexicore' band, Pierce The Veil, has been working on their much anticipated fourth album, and apparently has discreetly leaked it all to the internet.
“We put them up on old social media sites like Myspace,” Vic Fuentes joked. “The whole record has been on Friendster for like a month and nobody even knows.” Jaime also claims to be learning to fly, and is attempting to get his pilot licence. Vic does not support any of these shenanigans, and more can be found on APTV. It appears that their antics are not totally genuine, but it is a good way to hype up their new album. As of this point in time, there is no set title or release date known to the public. Its been said that it will have eleven tracks and will be out around January of next year. In the interview on APTV, Vic sort of shut this down, but nothing else has been said. The album will be out early next year, just its still up in the air as to when this is. Just in case its not totally clear, they are joking. They are mexicore ninja, pranksters who also make awesome music.

2014 has been slightly less seasonal than most years. What this means is there hasn't been a defined 'tour season' or 'album season.' Its been a jumble where everyone seems to be touring constantly and there's always something being released. Its pretty awesome.
As of right now, you can stream the 29 track long deluxe edition of Paramore's 2013 self titled album via Spotify. It is now available for purchase as well via Fueled By Ramen. Several other bands are making comebacks in the coming month, and others are staying consistent with their releases. On December 2, AC/ DC will be releasing their first album since 2008, Rock Or Bust. Wu Tang Clan is apparently still a thing as they will be releasing a brand new album titled A Better Tomorrow. This is their first album in seven years. On December 9, The Smashing Pumpkins will return with the second installment of an album trilogy they've been working on. The over all trilogy is called Teargarden by Kaleidyscope, and the new release is called Monuments to an Elegy. The first one released was called Oceania, and was released in 2012. The third is called Day For Night and will be out sometime in 2015, along with another currently untitled album. Finally, on December 31, Angels & Airwaves will release their fifth studio album, The Dream Walker. Know of an album coming out that wasn't mentioned? Want to give some insight on one of these albums, or another? Leave your comments below! This coming weekend, pop punk band Neck Deep will be entering the studio to begin production on their next album. Assisting them in this journey will be A Day To Remember's Jeremy McKinnon, Tom Denney, and Andrew Wade.
Ben Barlow of Neck Deep was quoted saying the following in regards to the new album. "When we started looking into recording album two we knew we wanted it to be bigger and better than Wishful Thinking. We wanted to step things up in a big way. Not only will we be stepping out of our comfort zone and finally recording outside of Seb’s (Barlow’s brother) bedroom," he admitted, "but we’ll be working with someone we’ve always looked up to. When we initially spoke to Jeremy about producing the album his enthusiasm was what caught us; not only is he someone who knows what they’re doing, and has achieved everything we could hope for, but he’s just as stoked on the album as we are, and that’s a huge thing." Jeremy McKinnon also had something to say. "I was working with Andrew (Wade) on the new the Ghost Inside album (Dear Youth) when Tom Denney stopped by for a bit. He and Andrew were talking about having a meeting with Neck Deep about doing their next album. I overheard them and pretty much forced them to let me be a part of the meeting. We met with Fil (Thorpe-Evans, bass) and we all hit it off. A few weeks later we heard back that the band had picked us! I think they’re one of the best new upcoming pop-punk bands in the world, and I’m pumped to make some music with them. They have their own sound, and it seems like they’re right on that edge of being a really big band. All it’s gonna take is a slam dunk record. I think they’ve got it in them.” You know you're doing something right when one of the bigger names in 'pop punk' decides to back you up in the recording process for your sophomore album. Kudos to Neck Deep. There for Tomorrow, an alternative, pop rock band from Orlando, FL has decided to call it quits. Read what they said on their Facebook page below.
"Dear TFT Fans, Friends & Family, It's been no mystery that we've made a conscious effort to take time off from traveling since the end of 2012. It was essential for us to come home & take time to find ourselves as individuals. When this all started, we set out on a mission as mere kids. We reached a point at the end of 2012 where we found ourselves feeling a bit trapped creatively, pigeon-holed & painted into a corner that we never anticipated to be in. This band & the music we've made over the past decade has never been compromised or forced. It has bonded us with so many thousands of die-hard passionate music lovers that we are so lucky to call fans. It has landed us opportunities to work hand-in-hand with world class talent. The experiences we've been so fortunate to have with taking our music around the world has opened so many doors for us as people & for our careers. It is now the time in our lives that we must go on & discover these new doors that have opened for each of us. The legacy of There For Tomorrow & the message we always wanted to portray will undoubtedly live with us all forever. There is so much to come in the future for all of us & for us as eager people, we have to explore. There's no telling what might happen down the road, but for now we created the new 'Nightscape EP' as an ode to all of our caring friends & followers. It's another piece of the puzzle that will last a lifetime. We chose to play 2 last shows in our hometown Orlando, the birthplace of TFT next month. If it is within reason, please make an effort to come out so we can thank you personally. We dearly love & cherish all of you who have poured time into what we've done since we were little bowl-cut headed Orlando boys. No heavy hearts, no weary minds, just celebration! TFT / THE SOCIAL / ORLANDO: December 19th • ow.ly/Dt1Qe December 20th • ow.ly/Dt1Qf With all the love, Maika Maile, Jay Enriquez, Christian Climer & Chris Kamrada." All Time Low fans are poppin' champagne in celebration tonight! The band announced that their song, "Weightless" the lead single off their 2009 release, Nothing Personal, has gone Gold! Feel free to congratulate them via Facebook, or Twitter. If you'd like to congratulate them individually or in person, you can do so. All Time Low will be in Radford, VA on November 18 doing a free show at Radford University.
@AlexAllTimeLow / @JackAllTimeLow / @RianAllTimeLow / @ZackAllTimeLow Earlier tonight, A Day To Remember had to cut a show short at the Guildhall in Portsmouth, UK. About 30 minutes into the set, a fan fell from the balcony and was rushed to the hospital with a severe head injury.
This was brought to everyone's attention when the band abruptly stopped playing. This interruption was followed by an announcement that the show was over and everyone had to leave the venue. There has been no word on how the fan that fell is doing now, how he fell from the balcony in the first place, or if anyone else was injured. Hopefully all is well soon. A Day To Remember has acknowledged this accident via Twitter, as well. Today, Sleeping With Sirens released a new song called "Kick Me", upon joining Epitaph Records. The song is kind of cliche', but at the same time its good. Its kind of your typical anthem for those who happen to be unique and often misunderstood. It says things such as "Fuck you and your opinion." and "You don't know shit about me." The truth is hidden behind the word cliche' though, so while it might be a slightly over done topic, people will forever relate to it. Everyone gets judgement and people's unwanted opinions about them, there for there will always be a sound about it. Its a timeless topic that is not going to go away. That being said, even the music doesn't stand out all that much to me. There's nothing particularly spectacular about it, which kind of is disappointing to say. All that being said though, it does make one wonder what the future brings for Sleeping With Sirens. It also makes one wonder what inspired this song? Considering its release was just on the heels of switching labels, it does lead you to believe that maybe there were some issues between the band and Rise Records. Perhaps it was some other situation, or simply, they wanted to write an anthem for the misunderstood. Feel free to listen to the song and give your thoughts below. Did the title confuse you? In July 2013, Nickelback's Chad Kroger and Avril Lavigne got married after meeting because of a collaboration on Avril's self titled album. Rumors started up several months ago claiming that they were pulling a Kardashins and are already getting divorced. Chad recently spoke up about all of this needless drama, saying that he finds the rumors to be highly amusing. "Sometimes it's funny," Chad went on to explain,"When you're standing in the checkout line at the grocery store and you look over and it's your face on there. Not the … Kardashians … and Brangelinas … it's 'Chavril,' " he said. "You're like, 'Can I buy all these? So that no one can see?' " He said he personally pays very little mind to such rumors, but his family will call him up extremely concerned. He claims his dad called him once saying he had not slept in two days and demanded to know what was wrong. Luckily, this amuses Chad, though there appears to be no word on how Avril feels about it. “When you get out of high school, and it's like ugh, okay. All that rumor crap. All that stuff that people say behind each other's backs is minuscule, pales in comparison to the world of celebrity or being married to a celebrity. That's high school multiplied exponentially," he commented. "It's ridiculous. How many times has Jennifer Aniston been pregnant this year? A dozen?" Chad also decided to start a new rumor by stating, "Let's start a new rumor -I'm pregnant." You might want to tell your wife that first, Chad. As by some weird phenomenon, she got you pregnant, not the other way around. During the late spring, and through the summer, people are talking about if they're going and who all they want to see. In the fall and winter, its all about who people want to see play on the upcoming lineup, and then the announcements for tour dates and lineup come flooding in. The tour dates came slightly early this year. Normally those are not announced until late October, to mid November but they were released in September this year. If you are interested in seeing the tour dates, please click here to view the official Vans Warped tour website. All dates have been announced, though the venues have not been! Hopefully that will come soon, as it has been announced that tickets go on sale December 3. Also on December 3, the band announcements will begin! Several will be announced weekly until the full lineup is known. Generally this takes a couple of months to get done, so chances are, the lineup will unveil itself December 3 through sometime in February or March of 2015. Warped tour begins on June 19, 2015 and will go through August 8, 2015. As it stands, there has been no word on when the Battle Of The Bands will restart for the up and coming bands who would like a chance to play Warped tour 2015. Hopefully that will come shortly after the first band announcements are out.
