There's been a trend lately all around YouTube where people tried doing certain things for an entire week. Sometimes its something random and silly, sometimes its educational and meant to be enlightening. Sometimes it brings awareness, or sometimes it brings nothing but sheer entertainment. State Champs got involved in that madness last week, and let YouTuber, Michelle Khare join their band for a full week. She vlogged the entire experience and helped them with some promo for their brand new album, Living Proof. I won't bore you with the details, when you can definitely just watch it all. They included her in as much as they possibly could, asked a lot of genuine questions to give some insight into the life, and talked to some fans. Take a look. They even got her to perform their song, "Criminal" and tried to teach her drums. I can only imagine how exciting and much fun this must have been for her, and as someone who's seen some insight into the musician life, I love that someone is putting that out there in full. It really shows people not only the fun parts, but the hard work that goes into it.
If you're interested in more, please head on over to Michelle's channel. She appears to do a bunch of week long challenges that include all kinds of things. These things include training, meditation, living without the internet, and all sorts of other things. Don't forget too that you can catch State Champs on the final run of the Vans Warped tour now through August 5. Its coming to a close very soon, so if you are able to go, I highly recommend you do it. If you can't catch them on Warped tour, don't fret, they will be on tour with Blink 182 in September. For more information head on over to State Champ's official website, and be sure to pick up Living Proof. Its available right now wherever you choose to get your music.
