Everyone in the US knows that the Super Bowl is a big deal. If you're into it or not, you still know it exists and have watched at least some of it in your life time. If you're like me, you've only tuned in on the years someone you liked was playing the Half Time show, and caught a few commercials here and there. Its primarily only been pop artists that performed, with a few rock bands here and there over the last 50 years. However, now there's a poll going on asking people to vote for who they would like to see. You can even suggest your own artist, if none of the others spark your attention. The list consists of popular artists like Justin Bieber, One Direction, Taylor Swift, Adele, Nicki Minaj, ect....but also, Panic! At The Disco. What's even cooler is they're basically neck and neck with One Direction in the polls so far. When this article was posted, One Direction had 36% of the vote, and Panic! had 33%. So its pretty damn close, and I personally think it would be very cool to see Panic! At The Disco perform at such a legendary event. Its legendary for two reasons -one being the obvious, its the Super Bowl, but its also because its the 50th one. If you wish to get involved or even just see the complete list of options you can do so by clicking here. If you click there, it will take you to the Billboard website. I have no idea how long this poll will be up, because its actually been up since February of this year. Why am I only just now hearing about this, I am not sure, but hey, maybe better late than never! |
