Its that time of the year ago! When bands are going on short tours to conclude the year, and big festivals are setting their dates for the coming year. Hi by the way, long time no talk. Life's been crazy but Fort Rock 2017 made me want to speak up to the internet once again. Fort Rock, Welcome To Rockville, and Rock On The Range all announced their 2017 dates, and I'm sure other festivals such as Louder Than Life, Rocklahoma, and more will be following suit soon but as far as I have seen, they have yet to post their dates. Fort Rock and Welcome To Rockville are the kick offs once again this year, by sharing the same dates. Both will be happening on April 29 and April 30, just like last year. It is the fourth annual Fort Rock festival, and the fifteenth Welcome To Rockville! As for Rock On The Range, it will be happening on May 19, 20 and 21 and it is the 11th festival! Lineups have yet to be announced but they will be coming for Fort Rock and Welcome To Rockville on December 5, and Rock On The Range doesn't have an announcement date yet but surely its coming soon. I'm already wondering, surely with a ton of other people, who's going to be playing this year at all the festivals. Chances are all the festivals will have similar lineups so people all over the country can enjoy the same show. Then you don't experience too much festival envy. Given the way the lineup went last year for Fort Rock, and the fact that I guessed a chunk of the bands performing correctly, I think I will try to make up another list. Give me a bit to think about it and I will get back to you. |
