Earlier today it was announced that Danny Leal, Upon The Burning Body's singer has gone missing after a possible home invasion on June 30. For reasons yet to be explained, the creator of Summerian Records seems to think its a horrible hoax. He stated, "I woke up to a ton of missed calls and just saw all this stuff about Danny Leal of UABB posing as that he’s been abducted or kidnapped. My phone hasn’t stopped ringing since. As a child, we all learn the story “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” and it sticks within our consciousness for a reason. I do not condone this type of publicity stunt. This was done behind my back and I am not OK with it. In my eyes, there’s never a time to use the possibility of real-life abduction, injury or murder of someone you care about to promote anything, especially an album. If you need to resort to that, then you have lost the plot. We as a society should have evolved past that way of thinking by now and especially within the rock/metal community, given all the tragedy that has happened in our world over the past few years. There are some people who owe us an apology." -Ash Avildsen, Creator & CEO of Sumerian Records. Nothing has really been stated from the band themselves whether or not Summerian Records deserves an apology or if they do for having someone assume that such a serious matter is a hoax. However, the band did post a photograph of some hand written lyrics, written in the form of a letter. It is the lyrics to their newest song, "Red Razor Wrists" and is addressed, "To UABB", and appears to have Danny's signature. It appears as though this was actually a hoax -just to draw attention to their song, that appears to be a cry for help anyways regarding self harm. The song, and 'letter' state, "I am not sorry for the way that I am." But maybe you should be. If you're going to lie about such a serious matter as going missing is, you need help, sir.
Especially if its all to promote a new song. We all get it, you need a creative way to bring awareness to a new track -this was not the right way to do it. What's up with this? Nobody knows yet, but everyone can agree that it is not right. If it is true that was a hoax, not only does Summerian Records deserve an apology, but so do all the fans out there. Many people were worried sick, surely, all over a big, fat, lie.

Upon A Burning Body's singer, Danny Leal has been reported missing. It says he was last seen in his hometown of San Antonio, TX on Monday, June 30.
Due to a couple tweets from Danny on June 30 at 11:05pm and 2:07am on July 1, there is some speculation that he may have been kidnapped, or worse by someone that broke into his house. He first tweeted saying, "This same sketchy car has been driving past my house over and over for the past three nights straight." Then tweeted, "Wide awake now....I could have sworn I heard someone in my house!!!!" Nothing has been said since. Nobody quite knows yet what is going on, if the mysterious car had anything to do with this or not, but it seems possible. Some people are wondering if this might have had something to do with a crazed fan, others are just wondering if its your average creep up to no good. Here's hoping that Danny returns home to his family soon, safe and sound and that whoever may have broken into his house is put behind bars. Sleeping With Sirens surprised fans yesterday by announcing that they will be joining Warped tour! However, they're not joining the entire tour, just a few dates. There has been no explanation as to why this decision was made, or why it was announced so late into the game, but there have been some mixed feelings about it. Some fans couldn't be more thrilled, others are disappointed that they are only joining the lineup for these five dates. Some other people made comments that, "Well Warped Tour just went to shit... Let the 12 year old girl Scene Tour begin." Excuse you, sir, who clearly shouldn't be on the fan page for Sleeping With Sirens, how does one band ruin a tour? It doesn't. Get over yourself.
