I Prevail forced to Reschedule shows

I Prevail has been on a tour with Wage War, Islander and Assuming We Survive for a little over a week now. Unfortunately, it's still that time of year where everyone is getting sick, and they just had to admit their vocalist, Brian Burkheiser to the hospital. He's come down with pneumonia and a flu, so the poor guy is down right miserable, and they were forced to cancel two shows because of it.

The first was tonight's show in Flint, MI, and then tomorrow's in Grand Rapids is being postponed. The shows will be happening now instead on Sunday, March 19 (Flint, MI) and Monday, March 20 (Grand Rapids, MI). Below is their statement from their Facebook page. 

IMPORTANT - this weekend's shows in Flint (2/18) and Grand Rapids (2/19) have been cancelled. They are being rescheduled ASAP. The new dates will be announced soon. Of course all tickets and VIP upgrades will be honored. Please spread the word to anyone you know who planned on attending either of these shows.
Brian was admitted to the hospital this morning and is currently being treated for pneumonia and a pretty nasty flu. He's doing his best to get back at it as soon as possible.
Missing shows is one of the hardest things to go through as musicians. These are our first and hopefully our last.

Someone commented on the photo above, which was taken from their Facebook, asking if the tickets would be refundable. The band answered soon after stating that they are 100% refundable, and told the fan to message their page directly, or just get in touch with the place they purchased the tickets. With that, they also apologized for the inconvenience. 

I Prevail is handling this very professionally, and lovingly. Fans are reacting just as well, sending Brian a lot of well wishes. 

We would like to join them on that, and wish him a speedy recovery so he can get back to doing what he loves. I Prevail's tour will be going on through March 17, and after that they will get to perform at several festivals such as Fort Rock, Welcome To Rockville and Carolina Rebellion!
